NOTE FROM MARK HANLIN
Low Speed Rookie School Chairman
Good Morning All
All I can say is THANK YOU!!!
We had another very successful Low Speed Rookie School, in spite of the morning weather. There are a lot of
people that made this possible and rather then for get some one I will just say that all the members of Calhoun
County, Kalamazoo and Capital City were able to make all the work that needed to be done, get done!
THANKS! Also, to MAG for instructors, timing/course management and helmets! THANKS!
Finally, to the students. We had 18 and one cancellation that would have tied our first year record of 19
drivers. Everyone left with a smile on their face!! But without them, we certainly would not have a school!!
THANKS!
As a matter of house-keeping, we should have the financials in a week or two and I will report directly to the
Kalamazoo and Capital City governors on that. Also, I have pictures of many of the Corvettes and the classes
that I will download and send out in the next couple of days (maybe next week, it is very busy right now) To
my fellow CCC members, I still owe you pictures from our recent club events – please be patient! Lastly ,
when I get the runtime sheets from Dwight Theodore, I will forward those to the drivers that I have an email
for, or the club they are affiliated with, so each can see their progression during the events of the day.
Let’s do this again next year, say about May 15th!
