Team Events - Individuals may bowl a maximum of two times in team events. Teams with four or more original members will only be allowed to place in the highest cashing position. 2. Singles & Doubles - One re-entry is permitted in singles and doubles. Bowlers may cash only once in the singles prize list. Bowlers may cash only one time in the doubles prize list with the same partner but may cash twice with a change of partner. AVERAGES and HANDICAPS 3. Entrants will use their highest USBC sanctioned league average based on a minimum of 21 games for the 2012-2013 season. If a bowler does not have a Winter average then a Summer league average will be accepted/used if 21 games or more. If a bowler’s average (21 games or more), as of date of bowling is 10 or more pins higher than 12-13 season’s average, the higher average will be used. If a bowler does not have an average from last season, they will use their highest USBC sanctioned average, of 21 games or more, as of Jan. 1, 2014. ALL OTHER BOWL SCRATCH.Youth league averages will be accepted. Please note, you must have a 21 games bowled as of Jan. 1, 2014, not at the time of bowling. 4. Bowlers are individually responsible for verification of their average, even if they did not submit their average. Failure of a bowler to report their correct average by the end of the first game, of any event, may disqualify their scores. If a bowler’s average is found to be higher than the reported average, the scores will be disqualified. If the incorrect average is lower than the actual average, the bowler will use the average reported at the time of bowling, which is the higher average. 5. If a bowler has only a Sport League average, their average will be adjusted using USBC Rules 202a & 202d. Indicate on the entry form if you are using a Sport League average. Advanced reservations must be received 8 weeks prior to scheduled time. Handicap based on 85% of 225. The maximum handicap for team event is 1020 pins. For singles and doubles the maximum handicap is 178 pins for men and 229 pins for ladies. EVENTS 7. Team Events - Male bowlers with a USBC sanctioned league average of less than 145 will be entered with an average of 145. Singles – Handicap; Scratch; Ladies; Recycled Teenagers (55+) 8. All bowlers who have qualified for a prize of $600 or more in any tournament within the previous 12 month period must report their actual score, position and amount won. This will be used for possible rerating per USBC rules. Also a bowler must report if they have been rerated in any tournament in the last 12 months. These disclosures must be made in writing AT LEAST one hour prior to bowling. 9. Bowlers shall be familiar with and abide by USBC Rule 319a (Averages), 319b The tournament is divided into events and divisions: Team – 825 or under; Handicap; Scratch; Ladies Doubles – Handicap; Scratch; Ladies Optional Events (Fee required) Bolony Bank - Handicap; Scratch; Ladies Optional Singles Team – Handicap; Scratch; Ladies Optional Singles Doubles – Handicap; Scratch; Ladies 18. Ladies teams do not qualify for 825 Scratch Division. (Assigned Averages), 319c (re-rating), 319e (Average Adjustment), 322a (Tardy Players) and 328 (Changing Delivery) which will apply to all participants. 19. Teams and individuals are entered into both scratch and handicap divisions. Only one prize will be paid, that being the highest money value. ELIGIBILITY 20. Bolony Bank is an optional event using the total of a bowler’s singles and doubles events. Bowlers may enter once in this event. If they bowl twice, their first score in each event will be used. Entry is optional and is $10.00. Bolony Bank entry must be made prior to bowling. Prizes paid at least 1 in 10. 10. Bowlers must present their USBC memberships card upon check-in. If bowler lost their membership card, they can print a copy on Bowl.com. Bowlers without an USBC card may purchase an associate membership for $21.00 and compete in the tournament. 11. Unmarried grade school and high school students who have not attained the age of eighteen must abide by USBC Rule 13. 12. Entries will not be accepted from PBA members who finished in the top 25 money list the previous year. 13. We reserve the right to refuse future entries from; teams or individuals who do not check in one hour prior to scheduled time and those who do not complete their competition in the allotted time. Team event is allotted 3 ½ hours for their competition. Singles and Doubles events are allotted 2 ½ (4 bowlers on a pair) or 3 ½ (6 bowlers on a pair) hours. 14. The Dutchman Tourn abides by the one Lane Courtesy Rule. All bowlers are asked to abide by this rule, or it could affect their eligibility in future tournaments. 21. Optional Singles Doubles - When bowling the doubles event, the bowler has the opportunity to use that 3 game score for an optional singles event. There will be three divisions; Handicap, Scratch and Ladies. Entry is optional and is $10.00. Optional Singles Doubles entry must be made prior to bowling. Prizes paid at least 1 in 10. 22. Optional Singles Team - When bowling the team event, the bowler has the opportunity to use that 4 game score for an optional singles event. There will be three divisions; Handicap, Scratch and Ladies. Entry is optional and is $10.00 Optional Singles Team entry must be made prior to bowing. Prizes paid at least 1 in 10. 23. Recycled Teenager Event (55+ Division) Bowlers age 55 or over are automatically entered into this division provided they provide the tournament with their birth date. There is no additional fee for this division. Failure to report birthday will result in bowler not entered into senior division, but they will still be entered in the other single event divisions. SUBSTITUTES & CHANGES 24. Entrant that bowls singles event, must bowl doubles event or vice versa. 15. All substitutes must fill out a substitution form. This form must be submitted at least one hour prior to the scheduled start time. This applies to team, doubles, and singles. Substitutions will not be accepted via telephone. All changes must be emailed, faxed, mailed or made on site. Substitute will assume the original bowlers position. MISCELLANEOUS 16. Line-up changes for any event will only be made if requested by the team captain or squad sponsor. All changes must be submitted at least one hour before scheduled start time. 17. Tournament management reserves the right to change published lane assignments. 25. Prizes will be paid to at least 1 in 7 entries except where indicated. Prize fund held in trust for your protection. All prize funds returned 100%. Checks will be mailed to the team captain or squad sponsor. 26. All entry fees must accompany entry form. 27. There will be a $35.00 charge for returned checks. 28. On-site transactions will be cash or money order only. No personal checks. 29.
