We are in the last month of school and I cannot believe it is already

Upcoming Events, we have so much more to come! Although the end of
the school-year is eventful, it is just so much fun with all the activities.

April brought us all sorts of weather, but many days the kids had ample
sunshine playtime. Our Fifth grade class joined 5th graders from our
Deanery in a full day of learning about Vocations at Holy Angels Convent;
and I heard it was a marvelous time. Upper grades prepared to become
historical figures, students participated in Algebra Camps, and Sixth grade
blasted off for the annual Space Camp. Many hours have been spent on our
Evening of the Arts events - Jungle Book show, Tacos Dinner & Tamales
Sale, artwork to auction and year-long art is all over the walls of the school.
May 5 Evening of the Arts (dinner
at 5:00, show at 7:00 pm)
Dear Blessed Sacrament Families;
Over the years of being in the education profession, I have learned that
teachers are constantly on the move. Some of our teachers will not be with
us next year and we are sad to see them go, but so happy for what lies ahead
for them. Mrs. Pitcher is taking an extended leave as she will have a
beautiful baby boy in September. Mrs. Weston, who just had a baby at the
end of December and lives so far away, has a prospect to work close to
home now. The Lord gave Mrs. Whitley the opportunity to move close to
her parents who are having concerning health issues and live in Memphis.
For the last two years, we were able to borrow Mrs. Harrison from her post
but now she will return. Only with prayers can we replace these wonderful
ladies, yet already we have been blessed with several inquiries.
As we come to a close this year, we are already busy planning for the
future. In June, we will send out the calendar, supply lists, tuition payment
options and instructions on FACTS, and where all our amazing teachers will
be placed.
Blessings,
Mrs. Kelly Gabe
