basic photo corrections, manipulate, and

Exploration of intermediate tools related
to image creation and combining multiple
images with Photoshop as well as Adobe
Bridge. The use of the painting tools, layer
& quick masks, and type, layers, RAW
images, and automating actions will be
covered. The use of Photoshop with Image
Ready in relation to creating images for the
web will be covered. Various techniques
for different effects utilizing filters, layers,
blending modes, and other tools will be
covered. Students will combine Photoshop
and Image Ready to create a sliced image
for web delivery with rollover states and
animated gifs.

Join us for creative fun as we draw, paint, and
sculpt in this after school fine art program.
You will be amazed at what your child can
do with our “kid-tested” lessons. Kids
have a blast learning about composition,
color and texture as they produce a chalk
pastel landscape. Students learn painting
techniques using watercolors and acrylics.
They will create their own unique clay
sculpture that will be kiln-fired to last a
lifetime. Children will create different art
structures in each session.

BEGINNER
Ballroom Waltz and Foxtrot are the most important dances for social occasions. Learning
them provides a terrific foundation for adding
the Swing and Latin dances later. We will learn
the distinctive characteristics of each dance,
the basic steps, and several patterns to give
variety to your repertoire. Form, technique
and etiquette are all part of the agenda. Join

JITTERBUG DANCE
Swing dancing is probably the most useful
dance to know. From the Big Band sound of
the 40’s through the heyday of 50’s and 60’s
rock and roll, and the rock-a-billy sound of
country music artists, to today’s Top 40, swing
dancing is here to stay! Teaching the basic
steps, lead and follow responsibilities, turn
technique, and the showy moves that make
swing so much fun to dance. Don’t miss out

FOR GIRLS & BOYS
Beginning gymnastics class increases strength,
flexibility, agility, muscular endurance, balance, and sense of rhythm. Improved body
awareness will have positive affect on school
work and sports. Involves locomotive skills
and quick thinking. Boys wear a t-shirt &
shorts (athletic type, no zippers). Girls wear
leotards or t-shirt with shorts (no zippers).

Ever wonder how people get speaking parts in
movies and commercials. They know how to
audition. Before you can ever play the role,
you have to know how to get the role. Most
every actor will tell you the audition is the
toughest part of acting in film and commercials. You can learn how it’s done from LA
to New York. In this class, you will actually
go through the auditioning process, including
video taping your read and reviewing it so you
can see what it takes to make it in the biz. You
will start learning to think like an actor. The
class is conducted in a positive type approach
to learning how to audition. Commercials and
film roles will be given to students and within
a short period, the camera will “roll”. It’s fun
and challenging. Class limit of 14.

Getting paid to talk is a single evening class
that takes a realistic and entertaining look at
the positive and negative components of building success as a voice actor. Our instructor
will discuss both the creative and business
aspects of our field. In addition to having the
opportunity to hear voice acting demos from
working professionals, each student will have
the opportunity to record a real script under
the directions of our producer right there in
the class.

as the game is learned and mastered. If you

The CISD Senior Citizen Card will admit the senior citizen to a wide variety of CISD sporting events, school plays, band and choir concerts, and other events, all without a charge for

This educational course is designed for individuals who want to learn more about setting
realistic financial goals, making wise investment decisions, and avoiding unexpected
financial risks. The course begins with the
very basics of finances, including examining
some of the most common reasons why people
fail to meet their investment goals, some
money management tips that can help make
sure you don’t fall into those traps, and rules
that every investor should know and follow.

HILL COUNTRY KARATE
Hill Country Karate’s certified instructors began teaching American karate in 1983 to people of all ages, utilizing positive instructional methods. All instructors are required to
complete extensive certification programs emphasizing safety and positive professional teaching. Karate improves self-discipline, coordination, self-respect, and self-confidence.
All white martial arts uniform with elastic waistband required and may be purchased at class for $35. Registration and payment accepted at the first two weeks of class. Family
discounts for three or more! Children attending 3:30 classes should go to the gym immediately after school. Permission notes to stay after school are required on the first day of
