Teaching Opportunity: Due to personal commitments, Nathalie Genet will be leaving us this year.
She has kindly agreed to stay on at IST until we are able to replace her with a suitably qualified
French teacher. Please let Alan Lorenzini know if you are aware of anyone in our community who
would be able to commit to a part time teaching role for the remainder of this academic year.

Congratulations to our Girls On the Run! On December 8, a group of 15 young girls woke up at 6:00am
to attend a celebration of strength and friendship. The celebration included a 5k run, a snack and a
splash in the Secondary School pool. The girls were joined by an overwhelming supportive group of
teachers and parents.
Thank you to all of our parents and teachers for their support! It was a challenging day, but all of our
girls accomplished their goal of completing. It was an amazing day!
Congratulations Girls!
Is Your Family Leaving IST in December?
Perhaps you have received the news so many of us dread – the company is moving you
to a new location! On that long list of things to take care of, informing the school should
be one of them. This can start with an email to the Admissions Office to inform us of
your move (admissions@istafrica.com). That’s all it takes to get the ball rolling. We’ll be
sad to see you go, but let us help make the move as smooth as possible for the whole
family.
