Oliver owns a 39-24 career record after starting the Lindsey Wilson football program from scratch beginning with the 2010 season. He led the program to its first No.
1 ranking on Sept. 28, 2015.
Oliver led the Blue Raiders to the program’s first Mid-South Conference divisional
title in 2014 and a berth in the NAIA’s Football Championship Series. Once in the
playoffs, Oliver guided the Blue Raiders to a win the FCS first round before falling in
the national quarterfinals on the road.
Oliver’s Blue Raiders posted a program-high 10 wins in 2014, including a perfect
6-0 mark in the MSC East Division. The 10-3 campaign came on the heels of an 8-3
season in 2013. Lindsey Wilson capped the 2014 season ranked No. 7 in the NAIA
Football Coaches’ Postseason Top 25 Poll. The Blue Raiders reached as high as No. 6
in the national poll -- a program record.
For his efforts in 2014, Oliver was named the Mid-South Conference East Division Coach of the Year and the AFCA-NAIA Region 1 Coach of the Year for the third
time in his career.
During his tenure, Oliver has recruited and coached 34 All Mid-South Conference
performers -- including 15 in 2014. Five Blue Raiders have earned MSC Freshman
of the Year honors and two players have been selected by the conference coaches as
the MSC Offensive Player of the Year. In the classroom, 20 Blue Raiders have earned
NAIA Scholar Athlete honors while 66 earned Academic All MSC honors.
During the program’s inaugural season in 2010, Oliver led the Blue Raiders to a
5-6 record with more than 95 percent of the team consisting of freshmen.
Oliver picked up his first collegiate win as a head coach on Sept. 11 when the Blue
Raiders beat Southern Virginia University 44-3 in Lindsey Wilson’s first-ever win at
Blue Raider Stadium.
Hired on January 7, 2009, Oliver has overseen ever aspect of bringing football
back to Lindsey Wilson after a 75-year hiatus. Oliver’s first recruiting class consisted
of 65 student-athletes.
Prior to Lindsey Wilson, Oliver spent five seasons as assistant coach at Ohio Dominican. He served as offensive coordinator at Ohio Dominican from 2006-08.
Just like building the Lindsey Wilson program from scratch, Oliver helped start
the Ohio Dominican football program. As the lead assistant and recruiting coordinator, Oliver spearheaded the recruitment of 160 student-athletes in 2004.
During his time at Ohio Dominican, Oliver led one of the most prolific offenses
in the NAIA. In 2006, Oliver’s offense ranked third in the NAIA in total offense and
passing offense. The following season, the Panthers led the NAIA in total offense and
passing, and they were second in scoring. In 2008, Ohio Dominican was third in
passing and 11th in total offense.
The Panthers were 26-7 while Oliver was ODU offensive coordinator, which included an appearance in the 2007 NAIA Football Championship Series quarterfinals.
Prior to Ohio Dominican, Oliver served as a student-assistant at The Ohio State
University. Oliver assisted with the Buckeyes’ tight ends and special teams. He also
assisted with scouting and worked closely with recruiting. Oliver helped the Buckeyes
to the 2001 Outback Bowl.
Oliver graduated from Ohio State in 2003 and later completed his master’s degree
from Ohio Dominican in 2007. He and his wife, Wendy, have two children, Samantha
and Patrick.

LINDSEY WILSON COLLEGE RECAPS
G a m e 1 - a t Ly o n
Game 2 - at Georgetown
No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson football scored 62 straight points over
the final three quarters to sprint away from host Lyon (Ark.) 76-10 at
Pioneer Stadium.
The Blue Raiders (1-0) put points on the scoreboard in a variety ways
-- through the air, on the ground and even with a pair of punt returns
by Allen Cooks -- to propel Lindsey Wilson to its second largest point
total in the program’s history.
Cooks -- who averaged 33.2 yards per punt return -- scored the Blue
Raiders’ second touchdown on a 45-yard return to give Lindsey
Wilson a 14-7 lead late in the first quarter. He added a 92-yard touchdown return midway through the fourth quarter.
The Blue Raider offense went on to post 553 total yards, including
just missing the program record for team rushing yards in a game.
Lindsey Wilson rushed for 302 yards while throwing for 251 yards.
Defensively, Lindsey Wilson allowed just 198 yards of total offense,
including just 121 yards after the first drive of the game.
Dylan Beasley connected with Carmetrick Ross for a 28-yard touchdown in the waning seconds to give No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson
(Ky.) a 24-17 win over No. 11 Georgetown (Ky.) at Toyota Stadium.
The win is the second straight for the Blue Raiders (2-0) over the
Tigers and the first in Georgetown.
The Beasley-to-Ross touchdown was the second big play for the pair
during the game-winning drive. Beasley found Ross over the middle
on third and 11 for 37 yards to set up the touchdown pass two plays
later. Beasley finished the game 18-for-32 for 271 yards and two
touchdowns. Ross made the most of his two catches tallying 65 yards.
Georgetown (0-2) had one final chance, but Joe Lewis’ interception
ended the game and sealed the win. It was the third interception of
the game for the Blue Raider defense.
Treon Hill ended the game with two interceptions, including an 80yard pick-six in the first half, while Michael Brooks led the team with
11 tackles, including one for a loss. Chris Oldham finished with seven
tackles and a sack.

Game 5 - vs. Cumberlands
G a m e 6 - v s . Fa u l k n e r
The top-ranked Lindsey Wilson football pulled away in the second
half to defeat visiting Cumberlands 41-19 on Saturday at Blue Raider
Stadium. After leading 14-13 at the half, Lindsey Wilson outscored
the Patriots 27-6 over the final two quarters to pull away and remain
undefeated on the year at 5-0.
Cumberlands gained 451 total net yards, but the Lindsey Wilson defense came up with big plays when it needed them. Brackins Jr. forced
Patriot wide receiver Wendall Williams to fumble at the Lindsey
Wilson goal line with 12:25 to go in the second quarter. With 10:14
to go in the third quarter, Michael Brooks, who led the Blue Raiders with 10 total tackles, intercepted a pass from Adam Craig, which
subsequently led to a scoring drive by Lindsey Wilson.
The Blue Raiders finished with 456 total yards of offense, led by
Dylan Beasley’s 306 passing yards -- his first career 300-yard game.
Beasley finished with three touchdown passes and two rushing
touchdowns. The Lindsey Wilson offense did not commit a turnover
in the game.
The No. 1-ranked Lindsey Wilson football team outscored Faulkner
(Ala.), 21-3 in the second half to come back and beat the Eagles, 2419 on Saturday afternoon at Blue Raider Stadium.
Dylan Beasley completed 16-of-27 passing attempts and totaled 191
passing yards, while recording a pair of touchdown passes to lead
the Blue Raiders (6-0, 1-0 MSC West) back from a 13-point halftime
deficit over the Eagles (3-3, 0-3 MSC West). This is the first time in
program history Lindsey Wilson has started a season 6-0.
The Blue Raider defense had four interceptions in the game as Joe
Lewis had two picks, including an interception to seal the win as
Faulkner was driving the field in the final minutes. Alex Abner and
Avery Ford also each recorded an interception for Lindsey Wilson.
Faulkner quarterback, Clayton Nicholas, had just three interceptions
all season coming into the game.
Michael Brooks led the defense with 11 tackles – which moves him
just six tackles behind Sam Wilson for the program record for career
tackles.

Game 8 - vs. Campbellsville
Top-ranked Lindsey Wilson football suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, falling to No. 8 Reinhardt (Ga.) 42-24 in the NAIA

during similar stretches resulting in the first regular-season loss in its
last 13 games.
The Eagles scored three touchdowns in the first seven minutes of the
game -- a feat no other team has managed this season against the
Blue Raiders. Prior to today’s game, the Lindsey Wilson defense had
not yielded 20 points in any single game.

including averaging 7.6 yards per play. Reinhardt covered 573 yards
while running 26 more offensive plays (93-67) during the game.
