For the 10th consecutive year we partnered with world
renown Texas Children’s Cancer Center raising over
$690,000 during our 2-day Radiothon. Moving the
broadcast from inside of the hospital to a local mall
courtyard allowed our dedicated and passionate listeners to
physically become part of the broadcast. This move alone
contributed to nearly $30,000 in cash donations over the 2
days.

It’s called the Super Bowl of Rodeo and The New 93Q fully embraces The Houston
Livestock Show and Rodeo. For 20 consecutive days, we transform into Rodeo
Radio, broadcasting from the event, meeting our listeners and providing meet and
greet passes and ticket upgrades. This year, Rodeo Houston again set an all-time
attendance record with nearly 2.5 million attendees passing through the gates and
cozying up to The New 93Q broadcast shed and a record high $23 million for
scholarships awarded to area students.
The New 93Q has a one on one
relationship with our listeners. One of
the ways that we solidify and
strengthen this connection is by
providing our listeners unique
experiences like our Up Close and
Personal series. This is where listeners
win tickets to private performances
from country stars. It’s our audiences
opportunity to get one on one with
their favorite artists, like Jennifer
Nettles, Little Big Town, Randy
Houser, Lee Brice, Kacey Musgraves,
Rascal Flatts, Tyler Farr, Eli Young
Band and Luke Bryan
Our 9th annual A Day In The Country music
festival and listener appreciation show saw a
robust line-up greeted by a sell-out crowd of
over 16,000 fans. Easton Corbin, Joe Nichols,
Charlie Worsham, The Cadillac Three, Brett
Eldridge, Aaron Lewis and Eli Young Band
were as hot as the Houston sun.
