It is an honour to receive a pro skate but the honour
was even greater when I was asked if I would like my
very own Oli Short Pro Model M12,
I grew up watching the top pros riding the M12’s,
including almost every rollerblader I knew, I can’t
believe that in all these years there has not been a Pro
model. I remember getting my first ever pair of M12s
and how stoked I was with this amazing skate.
Many years have past since then and the evolutionary
M12 is still unfazed it has been re-released in black and
then in white, but now it is back again and better than
ever! When I was asked to design a pro model, the
skate was already so good and we have a saying ‘don’t
mess with success! So if it’s not broken why fix it?’ we
made minor modifications to the boot and came up
with a whole new and improved liner and a brand
new colour scheme, the biggest aim was to capture
personality on a skate which would represent my style.
Overall my skate is better than your skate, it not only
skates better and possesses more style than your skate
but I’m representing the skates which helped build our
industry, they probably made your skates possible not
to mention skating today as you know it,
So next time you buy a pair of skates you should think
about how skating is a lifestyle. I suggest you look back
at its history and find out what it is you represent.
It doesn’t get more real than that!

Replaceable Frame
The new frame is an unique piece developed
to improve performance and durability. Its
soul plate has a softer material in the royal
spot to help control speed.
The whole frame is made of a high durability
glass fiber blend that makes it faster on
grinds and very solid on every trick.
The frame is attached to the boot with three
EASY-TO-REMOVE screws so it can be easily
replaced.
This way the most versatile skaters can use
different frames with different wheel setups
by just removing
only a few screws.
La nouvelle platine est une pièce unique
développée pour augmenter les performances
et la résistance. Les soul plate ont un matériel
plus souple au niveau du royal pour aider à
contrôler la vitesse. Toute la platine est renforcée
avec de la fibre de verre qui permet d’être plus
rapide sur les grind et très solide sur les tricks.
