LEADING
THE WAY
LEADING
CosmeticBusiness is, without doubt, one of the most important trade fairs for
us. A major plus is the huge variety and, at the same time, the complexity of
this trade show. Lots of our customers value this too – they can meet up with
numerous partners and enter into dialogue in a very short space of time.
Jörn Langhoff
Head of Sales for Germany and Switzerland

NEW TRADE FAIR,
NEW MARKETS
On 28 and 29 September 2016,
CosmeticBusiness Poland celebrates its première
in Warsaw. With a concept based on the tried
and tested B2B trade show, it opens up new and
interesting prospects for the Eastern European
market. You will find further, detailed information
about this at: pl.cosmetic-business.com
EXCLUSIVE BASIS FOR
SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS
CONTACTS
A total of 410 exhibitors and more than 3,000 visitors from Germany and abroad: CosmeticBusiness
proved to be a must-attend event for the cosmetics industry again in 2016. It is an indispensable
platform for trends and expertise, at which products for the cosmetics market of tomorrow are discussed
and successful business contacts established.
Everything in one place! The range of products and services on offer at CosmeticBusiness is unique
in Europe. As a major international B2B trade fair, it is an exclusive venue that brings together the
cosmetics industry and its suppliers with regard to all areas of the value creation chain and all types of
cosmetic products. Cosmetics companies visit the show in Munich to find fresh stimulus for designing,
manufacturing and presenting their products. They come to seek out specific suppliers and partners for
their entire range of products – from skin care to decorative cosmetics, from hair care to perfumes. It
is the perfect environment in which to present your products and services in a targeted way to a highly
qualified, international expert audience and to initiate valuable business contacts.

WELL
TARGETED
WELL
The number of people crowding round our stand was greater than at the
previous edition of the show. And the quality of the discussions we had needs
to be emphasised, too. We were able to establish numerous new contacts
and we are very confident that we have even managed to acquire a major
new customer. A particularly positive feature was the fact that there were lots
of decision-makers at this year’s CosmeticBusiness.

GREAT INTEREST,
HIGH DECISION-MAKING
AUTHORITY
CosmeticBusiness has long established itself as the central information source and buying platform for
the cosmetics industry throughout Germany and in its neighbouring countries. It is a place where you can
reach your specific target groups, in particular decision-makers from company management, product
management, development and marketing, as well as purchasing and production.

INTERNATIONAL IMPORTANCE CONTINUES TO GROW
27 % of the visitors in 2016 came from outside Germany. Altogether, representatives from
57 countries came to find out about the new developments in the sector. The top ten countries
were: Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the Czech Republic,
Great Britain and Hungary.
EFFICIENT
The numerous discussions we had with visitors were very good. People
came to our stand with a clear focus and were meticulously prepared.
And we had some detailed discussions with many of the niche suppliers too.
We were also very satisfied with the way the show was run. This made it very
clear to us that it is not only right for our company to maintain at continuing
presence at CosmeticBusiness, but it is also important that we do so.

PERFECT
FIT
Our notion that we would meet target groups that we do not otherwise reach
was proved entirely correct. As a result we were able to successfully extend our
network during the trade fair. I particularly liked the specialist programme.
The topics, which, for example, dealt with digitisation in the cosmetics industry,
and the quality and content of the lectures were all very good.

CESSFUL
We are extremely satisfied with our first time at CosmeticBusiness.
We have been able to have some excellent discussions, above all with
potential customers, […] I am certain that there will be some good
business for our company to come from one or, indeed, more of them.
We shall definitely be back in 2017.
