Volunteers and donations are needed and are welcomed from the community. Meals on Wheels of Elizabethtown delivers one hot and one cold meal daily (Monday through Friday except holidays) to seniors and qualifying individuals in need of shortterm help. Come join the fun of making your own ooey, gooey slime and your own tye dye shirt. Show your friends the cool ornament that you will make from zinc and hydrochloric acid. E-town High School Chemistry teacher, Scott Baylor, will instruct. Ages 9-14 M-TH June 13-16 10 am–12 noon $65 ($72 NM) HS Room 2605 Young artists will spend each morning of this art camp exploring Artists past and present while designing unique projects each day. Students should come prepared to learn new skills and techniques and not be afraid to get a little messy in the process. 2D/3D projects as well as painting and drawing will be experienced during this fun filled 4 days of Art! Perfect for the creative kiddo in your life to challenge them and keep them busy during the summer months! Ages 8+ M-TH July 11-14 9-11:30 am $80 ($87 NM) CC Room #1 Art-rageous Boys Lacrosse Camp Learn how to draw your favorite cartoon characters, or make up your own cartoon characters! Then apply these characters to your own comic strip! At the end of this camp you will understand the basics of pencil rendering. Shading, detail and shapes will also be discussed. Supplies for this class are included in the fee. Camp will be taught by Gabrielle Veith, certified teacher, freelance artist and clothing designer. Join us for CSI E-town forensics camp. We will use REAL forensic techniques to solve mysteries. We will investigate fingerprints, unknown white powders, unknown ink samples and mystery liquids. Illustration Class: Students will learn the different rendering pencils to use when drawing as well as the different techniques to use while applying pencil shading to their drawing. Students will focus these techniques on creating their own fictional character. Their character can be applied to a short story. Participants will take home a book or two that they have created. This camp provides a fun atmosphere where campers may participate in socialization skills and recreational activities. Activities include games, special appearances, visits to local recreation sites and fun learning! Camp Lady Bug started the Summer of 1968 as a result of a group of parents who wanted a summer activity that would keep their children with special needs in a routine that kept their minds and bodies active. GEARS began administrating the Camp in 2002. This style incorporates isolations, rhythm, and musicality to popular music. Jazz is an energetic style of dance that focuses on the technique of leaps, turns, and jumps.
