Regency ELY/CHELSEA SHAPE The Regency design uses delicate lines and intricate curves to represent twirling foliage and filigree leaves based on patterns from the late 18th early 19th century which can be found in our Museum in Derby. The finish on this new range of lavish tableware has been achieved by creating skills and techniques that were in danger of being lost to the past. Hand applied 22ct gold is carefully laid on an almost infinite choice of background colours, and after being fired up to eight times we are able to produce yet another exquisite example of Royal Crown Derby craftmanship. A wide choice of colour combinations are available subject to the restrictions of the ceramic colour palette. Some examples below.
