EPBSC Boxing Day 1 well as the whole world, then email the editor, don’t worry about format, layout, spelling or grammar—we can take care of the final production. So what are you waiting for— Get in touch NOW For the other 7 teams the start was near perfect but it didn't take long for the debris in the sea bought down from all over the place to take its toll on at least one of the Phantom’s. Well done to all teams that took part and made the effort. It clearly illustrates that if you want winter powerboat fun - Devon is the place to be. New Years Day Single Seater’s FUN RUN was a wash out due to the weather. So a decision was made that we should still run the event but not until Saturday the 4th January, which again similar to Boxing Day proved to a great day weather wise. A good few single seater mono hulls went playing today, but don't be mislead by the orange helmets, this was not a race but a rally and the hats were worn to keep the crews ears warm. Unquote. And yes with 15 boats starting this was a mammoth task for the safety boats, timekeepers, start and finish pit crews etc—A huge thanks to go out to all those that help out who never get mentioned, David, Chris, Sambo, Tim, Steve, Neil, Adam and anyone else who I may have forgot. By the end of the 3 heats and still with a good tide, recovery of the remaining 6 boats was easy due to getting the other 9 boats out at various times throughout the event. In typical EPBSC style it was all down to Aby’s for breakfast. Again as mentioned in Raceboat international.com Quote Next available rally dates: Have not been published yet at the time of going to press however nothing will be available until at least March Watch this space for updated potential dates/times and tides for 2014 Exe Powerboat and Ski Club Annual Dinner and Dance 7.00pm Saturday 22nd February 2014 Chicken Liver and Morel Mushroom Pate topped with Mixed Pickles and served with Melba Toast Deep-Fried Breaded Brie Wedge with Onion Chutney and crisp Salad Leaves Traditional Oak-Smoked Scottish Salmon laid over a Bed of Prawns and served with a Marie-Rose dressing *** Honey-Roast Loin of Pork served with a West-Country Cider and Apple sauce Roasted Salmon and Asparagus served with a confit of Tomato and Mussels Fettuccini Pasta in a creamy white wine sauce with Spinach, Pinenuts, Sun-blushed Tomato and Feta Cheese *** Crème Brule with home-baked Shortbread Biscuits Chocolate and Hazelnut Tart with Orange and Thyme sauce Selection of Local Cheeses with biscuits *** Coffee and Chocolate Mint £35.00pp Boxing Day 2013 Saturday January –4th 2014 For Sale: Discounted Life Jackets Based in Exeter, Global Services source and supply equipment for superyachts all over the world.
