The new DMU 40 / 60 / 80 eVo are world-class successors to the proven and successful DMU eVo generation. They are fully redesigned as gantry machines, which significantlyincreases rigidity and precision. Unlike the classic gantry design, the 'optimised gantry' provides improved accessibility, even from the side, as well as longer travels and a larger working area in a smaller footprint. The tried and tested swivelling rotary table concept was retained but the table load, dynamics and swivel range have been significantly increased. DMU 40 / 60 / 80 eVo machines with ball screws provide cost-effective entry into 5-axis machining. A dynamic package featuring linear drives in the X- and Y-axes is available for the highest productivity. The enormous swivel range of the B-axis generates a machining angle of up to –20 degrees and significantly increases the possibility of full 5-axis machining.
