lodges in 2008, we built them with environmental sustainability

with The Waring House Cookery School
T
he Cookery School at The Waring House was started in 1999 and
has grown in popularity ever since. Its wide variety of recreational
cookery classes is designed to appeal to everyone from beginner to
gourmet cook. No matter what the levels of skill, no previous experience
is necessary to participate in these fun and informative classes.
The hands-on classes are held in a specially designed kitchen under the
guidance of local and guest chefs. Some conferences with larger groups
may divide themselves into two groups with one group cooking lunch
for the other on one day, and the reverse the next day. Sometimes larger
groups choose a demonstration. Or simply gather together eight people
and plan a great spousal or downtime activity...a private cookery class
at The Waring House Cookery School.
In hands-on classes, everyone cooks, everyone eats, and everyone has fun.
Typically, each three-hour class includes a meal. However, depending
upon the topic, students may opt to take away the fruits of their labour.
You can view Waring House cookery class schedules online to get an idea
of some of our most popular classes. Or one of our chef instructors will be
happy to work with your group to design a class on a topic of your choice.
