Flu season is coming!
Flu Season is Coming!
Everyone 6 months and older needs the flu vaccine
every year. There is no cost for DHMP members to
receive this vaccine.
Members have several options for flu shots:
➊ If you have a visit scheduled with your provider,
you can get your vaccine at that time.
➋ You can schedule a flu vaccine only appointment
at Denver Health by calling 303-436-4949.
➌ Visit any retail pharmacy offering the vaccine,
such as Walgreens, King Soopers, Target, etc.
Be sure to go to the pharmacy counter, give them
your member ID card and you will have no copay.
If you go to an in-store clinic, you may be charged
a copay.
For members of:
• Medicare Choice/Medicare Select
• DHA/CSA/DERP/DPPA/DHMO
• DHMP Point of Service
• DHMP Child Health Plan Plus
Denver Health employees should receive their flu
vaccine at the Employ Flu Clinics October 7-11 to
comply with the employee flu policy.
