Modular U.S. Air Force Survival Vest Gets Revamped for the Outdoor Market
Monroe, WA— AdvanTac Technologies is unveiling ModMission™, a modular outdoor vest system
featuring a unique attachment method used by the U.S. Air Force, at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in
Salt Lake City in January. ModMission™ is a build-your-own configuration platform that uses the
SnapTrack™ system. SnapTrack™ is a patented modular attachment system that allows for rapid
attachment and removal of pockets and gear carriers. SnapTrack™ provides on-the-fly reconfiguration
with unequaled strength: just slide on and snap down. SnapTrack™ has been ejection seat and wind
blast tested to Air Force standards, and with over a decade of flight history, you can be sure your gear
will stay in place.
ModMission™ allows the end user to buy one vest base and reconfigure it for each outdoor mission,
pulling from a variety of general utility and product-specific pockets, including pockets for the techsavvy. ModMission™ is ideal for any outdoor endeavor, including hiking, fishing, photography, off-road
and hunting. ModMission™ allows the flexibility to pre-pack pockets for certain activities to ensure that
you have the right gear for the right activity without repacking your vest or pack each time.
AdvanTac Technologies did some test marketing at OR Summer 2012 with the current military-style
platform. Since then, the company has been revamping the look and functionality to meet the needs of
the outdoor consumer in both functionality and aesthetics. ModMission™ is set to launch later in 2013.
