Dennis and I would like to give special
thanks to Russell and Sharleen Thornberry
for encouraging us from the beginning. They
saw a vision 20 years ago - a need for quiet,
warm, light weight custom hunting garments
for those whitetail fanatics. Russell asked
if I minded if he sent us some customers.
Russell’s book - Hunting the Canadian Giant
generated alot of interest. Soon the layering
system was developed and Russell, Jackie and
the film crew at BuckMaster Magazine were
giving Raven Wear® hunting gear the ultimate
test in some of the worst weather Alberta,
Saskatchewan and the rest of Canada can
throw at you. David Morris field tested some
of the first garments with ComforMax IB® wind
barrier and endorsed us immediately because
of its quietness. Thanks to Robert Wiebe
for our great raven logo - our signature
trademark. Robert is also the artist of the
Raven Wear Buck painting.

RWAFSB Here at Raven Wear, we started making ‘stand bags’ 20 years ago. They did the job but were bulky,
heavy and had little room in the foot area. Over the years an evolution has occurred and we have
redesigned the bag using the recommendations of our many customers. The ‘Body Saver’ is sherpa-lined
and ComforMax IB® lined. Strap the Convert-A-Muff around the stand bag for easy carrying. Total
weight is approx. 8 lbs.
‘It’s like crawling back into bed,’ some say. This heat trap will let you wear a mid-weight coat
and pants underneath. You can slip your arms in and out through the zippered side openings. These
openings close when you pull your arms back inside. No need to take your shoulders out of
the bag to shoot. A back slit accommodates your safety belt. The Anti-Freeze Stand Bag can be
made with or without a hood. A long front zipper can be pulled up or down from inside the bag. Very
