OVERVIEW Macy’s Abu Dhabi will be one of the premier anchor department stores and the first Macy’s store outside the U.S. The four-­‐level store will be located at Al Maryah Central, Abu Dhabi’s highly an?cipated new retail experience that will be a major regional shopping des?na?on. The project will also be home to Bloomingdale’s second store in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). TRAUB ROLE TRAUB represented Dubai-­‐based Al Tayer Group in their partnership with Macy's Inc. as well as acted as the exclusive advisor on strategy and leasing to the developer, Gulf Related. TRAUB has served as advisors to both Al Tayer and Gulf Related for over ten years. Our team nego?ated the franchising agreements and is in the process of sourcing key roles, crea?ng and refining the business plan, designing the store and developing a merchandising plan/mix. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB was engaged on behalf of the Al Tayer Group to advise on securing the franchising rights and developing the Bloomingdale’s Dubai store. In this role, TRAUB ran the RFP process for regional opera?ng partners, solicited interest and nego?ated with regional partners for the three APG brands and advised on the final nego?a?on and selec?on of a regional operator. TRAUB RESULTS During a five year partnership with TRAUB, APG launched a substan?al interna?onal business, reaching 10 interna?onal retail doors, 753 interna?onal wholesale doors and 22 directly operated department store shop-­‐in-­‐shops. Today, Adrianna Papell, Aidan Macox and Hailey Logan are distributed across 4 con?nents in 21 countries. Dita successfully launched her more accessibly priced line, Von Follies by Dita Von Teese, in February 2012 in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France and the UK. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB was retained by DCI, the Australia-­‐based lingerie developer and manufacturer, to expand the Dita Von Teese lingerie brand into the U.S. market through the department store and specialty store channels. OVERVIEW The House of Benney is a London-­‐based luxury jewelry designer, manufacturer and retailer. Gerald Benney, founder of The House of Benney was the crown’s silversmith as well as patrons like Chris?e’s, Oxford or Cambridge. The company is now led by his son, Simon Benney. Simon recently unveiled a client’s commission, "The Three Sisters" candelabra, at Goldsmiths' Hall. Weighing over 50 kilograms, it is the largest piece of silver to have been made in Britain for many years. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB was retained by Lazarow, the American-­‐based advisory and business development firm, to launch the Benney jewelry brand interna?onally through the department store and specialty store channels as well as e-­‐commerce retailers. TRAUB also acts as the U.S. sales office for Benney in New York City. TRAUB RESULTS Benney had a successful e-­‐commerce launch with Moda Operandi. The Oscar de la Renta retail division was launched in 2004 with the opening of the designer’s first freestanding store on Madison Avenue in New York. TRAUB ROLE “TRAUB was dead-on when it

Our team created and refined a detailed business plan which included a broader accessories collec?on including shoes, handbags and scarves. We iden?fied and nego?ated a lease on Madison Avenue in New York, worked closely with leading architects and design firms to design a store that reflected Oscar’s personality and heritage and recruited key personnel. TRAUB RESULTS First year sales on Madison Avenue were double what was projected and annual sales today are over $10 million. The Oscar de la Renta retail network in the U.S. includes freestanding bou?ques in Bal Harbour, Costa Mesa, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Manhasset. OVERVIEW The Time Warner Center is an award-­‐winning iconic project recognized worldwide as a premier urban des?na?on. The upscale des?na?on features luxury retail, condominiums, restaurants featuring world-­‐renowned chefs Thomas Keller, Masa Takayama, Michael Lomonaco, Marc Murphy and nightlife entrepreneur Rande Gerber, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. It is a 2.8 million square foot mixed-­‐use center with 500,000 square feet of retail space. OVERVIEW Rising 70 stories above the Punta Pacific peninsula in Panama City, Trump Ocean Club is an all-­‐encompassing development offering condos with a world-­‐class hotel, numerous retail offerings, bou?que shops, a selec?on of restaurants, state-­‐of-­‐
the-­‐art fitness center, 46,000 square feet of mee?ng space, and soon-­‐to-­‐come interna?onal casino, private beach club in the Pearl Island and wellness spa. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB worked with Colombian commercializing firm Espacios Urbanos, Colombian architecture firm Arias Serna Saravia and Prodigy Interna?onal in developing a world-­‐class landmark and icon. Our team nego?ated a deal on behalf of the developers in order to create this unique branding opportunity TRAUB RESULTS The Trump name was successfully licensed to Newland, with Trump Hotel Collec?on, the award-­‐winning hotel management company, being retained to set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality not only in Panama, but throughout La?n America. OVERVIEW Rock & Republic, a top ?er premium denim brand, was founded in 2002 and soon was coveted for its fit, dis?nc?ve design and quality cramsmanship. Fueled by its Hollywood rock-­‐and-­‐roll image and it’s charisma?c founder, Michael Ball, the company had revenues near $100 million within six years. Hit hard by the global economic downturn, Rock & Republic’s business faced challenges in 2008 and in 2009, and filed for voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy protec?on. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB and its investment banking partner Atlas Advisors were engaged to help Rock & Republic evaluate its strategic op?ons. They were tasked with exploring either selling a stake in the company or selling part or all of the intellectual property of the company and iden?fying key financial and strategic partners. TRAUB and Atlas contacted a wide range of poten?ally interested buyers, including private equity firms and strategic players in the U.S., Europe and Asia. TRAUB RESULTS Rock & Republic ul?mately sold its intellectual property to VF Corpora?on, a major apparel company and denim specialist, owning such brands as Seven for All Mankind, Lee and Wrangler in January 2011. The transac?on resulted in an extremely posi?ve posi?ve outcome for the client, allowing Rock & Republic Holdings to repay all its creditors fully and Michael Ball to receive cash for the excess equity value. 22 experience

OVERVIEW Scotch & Soda is an Amsterdam-­‐based contemporary clothing brand. The brand began as a men’s wear label and has since expanded to include women’s collec?on Maison Scotch, Scotch Shrunk, a boys’ collec?on, Scotch R’belle, a girl’s collec?on and premium denim collec?on Amsterdams Blauw. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB and its investment banking partner Atlas Advisors were engaged by the main shareholders of Scotch & Soda to help find a buyer for the business. TRAUB and Atlas contacted a select range of poten?ally interested buyers, including private equity firms as well as strategic players in the U.S., Europe and Asia. TRAUB RESULTS In July 2011, Kellwood, a poryolio company of Sun Capital, acquired Scotch & Soda. The acquisi?on represented Kellwood’s largest and first interna?onal acquisi?on. The nego?ated transac?on resulted in an extremely posi?ve outcome for both Scotch & Soda and Kellwood. 23 experience

OVERVIEW Serendipity is an iconic New York City restaurant known for its famous frozen hot chocolate, ice creams and other desserts. TRAUB ROLE TRAUB is advising Serendipity on the interna?onal expansion of its business focusing mainly on the GCC, India and China.
