Mortimer Singer
President & CEO, Marvin Traub Associates
Mortimer Singer is the President of Marvin Traub Associates, a business development and
strategy consulting firm focused on advising brands, retailers and developers in the upscale
retail and consumer goods sector. Mr. Singer oversees all aspects of Marvin Traub Associates’
business from strategic consulting to M&A advisory in the fashion and retail industries with
clients domestically, as well as in the UAE, Russia, India and Europe. Mr. Singer is also a Cofounder of TSM Capital, TRAUB’s investment vehicle.
Marvin Traub Associates is currently serving as the exclusive leasing advisor to Gulf Related a
joint venture that it helped forge between New York based Related and Abu Dhabi based Gulf
Capital. Mr. Singer has led the merchandising and leasing strategy for The Galleria at Sowwah
Square, a state of the art luxury retail development in Abu Dhabi, which includes a large
selection of the world’s leading luxury brands.
Mr. Singer joined Marvin Traub Associates in 2002. Prior to TRAUB, Mr. Singer launched the
American division of Quintessentially, a UK based luxury concierge service, where he headed
the sales and business development initiative as well as marketing and positioning of the brand
in the USA with the co-founder. Prior to Quintessentially, Mr. Singer worked in the
Technology, Media and Telecom investment banking division of JPMorgan Chase.
Mr. Singer currently serves on the board of directors of Shop My Label, Matthew Williamson
and eSupply Systems and was previously on the Board of Directors of American Apparel
(Amex: APP)
He is Co-author of To India With Love: from New York To Mumbai, Assouline Publishing,
2009 and is co-founder and Chairman of Pin Down Bladder Cancer a charity that raises
awareness and funds for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Bladder Cancer Research Fund.
Mr. Singer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Christopher West
Managing Director, Marvin Traub Associates
Christopher West serves as a Managing Director of Marvin Traub Associates
Mr. West joined the company in 2012, bringing expertise in brand building, business
development, finance, media, technology, and entrepreneurship.
In 2011, Christopher co-founded Brightwork Capital Partners LLC, a single purpose vehicle
private equity fund created to purchase the luxury leather brand GHURKA. Brightwork raised
USD $12.5MM in equity capital and closed the acquisition 1 September 2011.
Prior to joining Marvin Traub Associates, Mr. West founded CS West International Corporation
in 2008. The firm focused on operational management, revenue generation and business
development for new and rapid-growth brands and companies. Clients included a global
clientele of financial institutions, startups, technology, talent, beauty, and creative companies.
Prior to founding CS West International, Mr. West was Vice President of Marketing and
Business Development at Zac Posen.
Prior to Zac Posen, Mr. West spent nearly 10 years at Procter & Gamble, most recently as a Vice
President of Marketing. At Procter & Gamble in London, New York and Geneva, Mr. West held
global responsibility for many luxury beauty brands, including Lacoste, Yohji Yamamoto, and
Helmut Lang.
Christopher graduated the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University in 1998
with a BSBA in International Marketing and a minor in English.

Burton Tansky
Managing Director and Vice Chairman, Marvin Traub Associates
Burton Tansky currently serves as Vice Chairman of Marvin Traub Associates. Mr.
Tansky joined the firm in 2011 bringing his expertise in luxury retailing.
Previously, Mr. Tansky was Chairman, President and CEO of the Neiman Marcus
Group. Prior to this role, Mr. Tansky held various positions within the company
including CEO of Bergdorf Goodman and CEO of Neiman Marcus stores. Prior to
this, Mr. Tansky was President and COO of Saks Fifth Avenue.
Mr. Tansky graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961, and currently
serves as a Trustee. He was the recipient of the Superstar Award from Fashion
Group International in 2006, the 2004 Gold Medal Award from the National Retail
Federation, and in 2002 appointed as a “Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur” by the
French government for his promotion of French-made merchandise in America. Mr.
Tansky has also been honored for his work with the National Alliance for Autism
Research.
Mr. Tansky serves as a Board Member of Eliot Pliner Shoes, Phoenix House,
National Jewish Health and Children’s Hearing. He currently serves as nonexecutive chairman of Neiman Marcus Group.

Geoff Lurie
Managing Director, Traub Special Situations Group
Geoffrey D. Lurie joined Marvin Traub Associates in May 2011 and serves as
Managing Director of Marvin Traub Associates, Special Situations group. Mr.
Lurie has more than 30 years of experience in managing and consulting to
companies in transition. Mr. Lurie has served as CEO or Chief Restructuring
Officer for more than 20 public and private companies and has also served as the
founding partner of a successful turnaround
consulting company.
Mr. Lurie led the turnaround and subsequent sale of The North Face, a leading
industry company in the outdoor apparel market. He also served as Chief
Restructuring Officer of Rock and Republic Enterprises, a manufacturer and
distributor of premium denim products. He has also served as CEO/CRO of
companies in the retailing, medical equipment manufacturing, toy distribution
and publishing industries.
In addition to these executive management positions, Mr. Lurie was a national
partner in the Reorganization Advisory Services Group of Touche Ross & Co.
Subsequently he founded a consulting company, GDL Management Inc.,
specializing in “Companies in Transition”. GDL was engaged by Boards, Senior
Executives, and Investors in approximately 300 companies over 15 years. GDL
was acquired in 1996 by Mahoney Cohen & Co., a large regional accounting
firm, to provide these services to their clients. Mr. Lurie received a Degree in
Accounting from the University of South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant.

Kelsey Scroggins serves as Senior Vice President of Marvin Traub
Associates.
Kelsey joined TRAUB in 2008 and works with the TRAUB team on
strategic consulting in the fashion and retail industries as well as
M&A advisory.
Prior to TRAUB, Kelsey worked in the consumer group at Thomas
Weisel Partners where she advised clients on various capital raising
alternatives including public and private equity offerings, mergers
and acquisitions in the specialty retail, footwear & apparel and
cosmetics sectors.
Kelsey graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a
B.B.A. in Finance.

Teresa Tsou serves as Senior Associate at Marvin Traub Associates.
Teresa joined TRAUB in 2013 and works with the TRAUB team on
strategic consulting in the fashion and retail industries as well as
M&A advisory.
Prior to TRAUB, Teresa worked as a Senior Associate and Analyst in
the Consumer Products & Retail investment banking groups at
Morgan Stanley and UBS where she advised clients on mergers and
acquisitions as well as equity and debt financing activities.
Teresa graduated from the Ross School of Business at the University
of Michigan with a B.B.A. in Finance & Accounting.

Tracy Dubb serves as Associate of Marvin Traub Associates.
Tracy joined TRAUB in 2012 and works with the TRAUB team on
strategic consulting in the fashion and retail industries as well as
M&A advisory.
Prior to TRAUB, Tracy was an analyst in the Consumer Products &
Retail investment banking group at Credit Suisse, where she advised
clients on mergers and acquisitions as well as equity and debt
financing activities.
Tracy received a B.S. in Urban Studies from the College of Arts and
Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in
Real Estate Development.
