The estate is beautifully situated in the national park in the province of Utrecht. Each building
is a national monument, with the preservation of history adapted to a new feature: to pamper
you and your guests, to surprise and entertain.

Poortgebouw
The 17th century Poortgebouw was used by the former inhabitants of the estate as small stables,
a coach-house and car salvage. Key elements of the structure have been restored and, due to
the new additions, the building now has a contemporary look.
On the ground floor of the Poortgebouw is a charming room with a generous drinks buffet. Large
french doors open onto a lovely terrace. The former hayloft on the upper floor is air conditioned
and is characterized by an impressive beam construction and a totally wooden roof.
The Poortgebouw is an excellent space for special dinners, formal receptions and stylish meetings
and can accommodate groups of between 20 to 130 people.
Audiovisual
In the hall located on the upper floor of the Poortgebouw you can use the existing projector,
screen and sound system with a wireless handheld microphone. There is also a CD player.
In the space on the ground floor there is a sound system with wireless handheld microphone
and a CD player. Of course, all rooms have an Internet connection. If, however, additional
audio-visual applications are required, we will gladly assist you.

Koetshuis
The 19th century Koetshuis once housed the many carriages of the noble families who lived in
the Castle. The huge building, in which the past has been carefully preserved, has high ceilings
and a beautiful contemporary look combined with classic grandeur.
This is the place where everything is possible: sizzling celebrations with amplified music,
perfectly sounding concerts, professional presentations, cosy dinners, receptions and anything
else you can imagine for your guests.
The room is suitable for groups of 50-250 people and in combination with the Stallen,
350 people can be received.
Audiovisual
In the Koetshuis you can use the HD projector, wide screen projection (4.5 m x 2.5 m) and
sound system with a wireless handheld microphone. There is also a lectern with a fixed
microphone and a CD/DVD player. The Koetshuis has an Internet connection. If additional
audiovisual applications are required, we will willingly assist you.

Stallen
The 17th century Stallen (Stables) is located opposite the Castle. The original stables are still
intact and contribute to a cosy and warm ambience. Natural and transparent material such as
metal, glass, wood, leather and wool form the basis of the interior design. An eye catcher in
the space is a superb wool and silk tapestry by artist, Claudy Jongstra, purchased in honour
of the reopening of the property.
The Stallen can accommodate groups of up to 150 people and, in combination with the
Koetshuis, 350 people can be received.

Oranjerie
In the 19th century Oranjerie, the atmosphere is determined by high doors overlooking
the beautiful gardens. Formerly wintered here were the exotic plants of the castle gardens.
The Oranjerie is an intimate and stylish setting for small groups. The space is used as a
meeting room or subspace and can accommodate 10 to 70 people.

Zuidpaviljoen
The 17th century Zuidpaviljoen were formerly used for personnel. Now, the boardroom is
covered and is a very representative and ideal meeting room for small groups of up to eight
people. This intimate space has a rich look and features a beautiful oval conference table and
comfortable chairs. The boardroom is ideal for a contract or executive meeting. Lunch and/or
drinks can be served in the boardroom or in the adjacent kitchen.
Audiovisual
In the boardroom, there is a mobile plasma TV to which you can connect your own laptop for
a large screen display. An Internet connection is also available.

Castle
Not for nothing, the Castle, has been reserved for last. This location has a separate status
in our offer. The monument is not used as an event location, but a visit to the Castle is an
absolute bonus as part of your celebration, conference, meeting or corporate event.
The Castle has been renovated in recent years to a representative museum space.
Previously it was inhabited by families of diplomats and military who played a prominent
role in international politics. The Castle is open to visitors and, in special circumstances,
it can be used for business meetings.

As is to be expected, good food and drinks are served at Buitenplaats Amerongen. Whether
it’s a formal reception or cocktail party, informal networking lunch, seated dinner or appetizer
gathering, you get only the best. In the preparation of meals only fresh produce is used.
