Visitors had the opportunity to stroll around the gardens, have a guided tour of the Tudor tower and enjoy a cream tea and chat to trustees about the future. Andrew George MP popped along and it proved to be a very successful day, with several hundred people passing through the gates. French Film Crew At the end of June 2013 we welcomed a film crew from France to record a documentary style programme for Canal+. It was a huge success and the programme entitled: RIP – RECHERCHES INVESTIGATIONS PARANORMAL, focusing on paranormal investigations was aired in April 2014. Halloween Kids Trails Over a period of 3 days at the end of October, the successful Halloween Kids Trail was resurrected. Children attending followed clues around the grounds for a prize, wore fancy dress and got the opportunity to take part in a range of craft and art activities Medieval Garden Award After the completion in 2012 of the Medieval Garden Structure, we were delighted and proud to learn that Dan McLaughlin won The Cornish Distinctiveness Design Award in April for his restoration. His award and designs were featured in Cornwall Today magazine Ghost Nights Pengersick is claimed to be the Most Haunted Location in the UK and we have been running ghost nights since 2001. These continued this year and attendees claimed to have had lots of strange experiences. These included strange noises, sightings feelings and peculiar images caught on camera.
