WHAT IS ODM SOLUTION?
ODM is a Plant Mobile Data Management & Decision Support System that helps to facilitate and integrate the manually collected
inspection and surveillance data in any industrial facilities. In addition, it helps to monitor and manage the mobile workforce and task
more effectively.
ODM essentially replace the manual log sheets where data is currently logged manually with the latest technology of mobile devices and
ODM-Mobile application. ODM-Mobile is a simple yet easy to use data collection software that improves current field data logging
process with better data accuracy and efficiency. Critical information and corrective action guidelines are at your mobile workforce’s
fingertip to assist in field troubleshooting.
Collected data will then be incorporated into the ODM information platform where data is systematically managed and distributed. This

ODM enables work process flow or data collection route to be build easily and continuous
enhanced for business functions over the time based on best practices.

scalable Mobile Information Management platform,

FEATURES HIGHLIGHTS:
Field measurement points are systematically organised in a hierarchy
format either with or without barcode / RFID referencing via user
friendly ODM-Manager tag management tools.
User security features enables different user level access control and
data collected to be easily traced and referred. User organization
hierarchy setup enable supervisor and manager to review and approve
their operators data easily.
ODM not only allows analog, message / condition strings data, but also
includes comments, voice messages, images/pictures and even sketches
drawing to be easily recorded.
ODM supports batch data entry mode, where multiple tags are being
referenced to a master tag, and user is notified to input data for multiple
tags in a batch.
ODM-Mobile will automatically detect predefined operation mode that
will help field operators to log all related inspection points to its
default value automatically.
The predefined comments feature allows users to record detailed
observations of any abnormal events or conditions and to manually
trigger the alarm for further action.
The ODM-Synch enables bi-direction data
transfer & synchronization between the
ODM-Mobile and server, either via wireless
connection or USB cable. Users are able to
download required information into the
mobile device for analysis or in-situ machine
troubleshooting.
The ODM-WebManager web application
allows multiple users from respective
departments to access to ODM data and
information via the internet browser. It
provides data visualization, trending,
alarming, analysis tools and reporting tools.
The powerful ODM alarm acknowledgment
model alerts users of any abnormalities
and provides monitoring tools for sequence
of event analysis.
The multiple pens trending and other
visualization tools enables users to monitor

action or diagnostic rules templates.

real-time historian and computerized
maintenance management system (CMMS).

ODM-MOBILE
ODM-Mobile is a user-friendly and easy-to-use Windows
Mobile application that will guide and help field operator to
collect offline field data easily and handle any abnormalities
conditions intelligently, with reference to the best practices
configured for the plant.
ODM-Mobile reduces the amount of time in data collection
and improves data accuracy by minimizing human errors. It
will validate the data entry and alert user if the data is outside
of the operating range or has triggered the preset alarm limits
such as deviation/HiHi/Hi/Lo/LoLo. Alarm can be intentionally
triggered by field operators too, in order to have the managers’
attentions for further discussion.
In addition, the ODM-Mobile will provide corrective action guides
and advices to the field workers when an alarm or specified
condition is triggered.
The data from the ODM-Mobile can be synchronized via ODMSynch, which converts the data into meaningful information to
respective departments such as operations, maintenance,
engineering and safety.
Additional data that includes comments, voice messages,
pictures and even sketches drawing can be easily recorded by
users via ODM-Mobile. This enables the observation of field
operators can be documented and conveyed easily to the
management.

ODM-Mobile supports a broad range selection of Windows
Mobile based handheld computers from various manufacturers.
Supported peripherals include barcode and RFID reader,
camera, temperature guns, vibration pen and other wireless
communication devices.
Different picture format data that is not captured by ODM-Mobile
can be attached or integrated to a particular tag and
downloaded to the handheld for reference. This is very useful
especially for in-situ troubleshooting work, where related
information such as equipment historical data and images of
infrared temperature profile can be easily accessed and studied.
