website.
We are a Luxembourgish company of human size, but
also very competitive. We made our way to become
one of the key players on the market. Tango has
130 employees operating in a flexible environment.
Our values are collaboration, agility, taking responsibility
and a challenge mentality. We are here to defy the
market. We must therefore always be very innovative.
When we recruit, we look at the professional experience,
which is essential. But we also pay attention to technical
skills, attitude and personality of the candidate. Everyone
knows each other in the company; therefore the quality
of the relationship between employees is extremely
important. If we have two similar profiles in terms of
skills, we will recruit the best one in terms of attitude:
people who smile, are passionate about what they do, can
adapt and will take responsibilities for their decisions.
What are your needs in terms of recruitment? What
types of profile are you looking for?
It’s much diversified. We seek both commercial and
administrative profiles. But most of the recruitments
are made in the technical department for which we
are looking for engineers, technicians and people with
telecommunications or telephony skills. Sometimes
I also recruit product managers for our marketing
department. This function has a quite technical
component in telecommunications, so these are very
specialised profiles. We also recruit for customer service
or accounting.
The turnover of the company is low and we achieve
about twenty recruitments each year.
How did your collaboration with jobs.lu begin
and why did you choose this website for your
recruitments?
We have been working together for five years now, after
having built a true HR department within the company.
The contact with the sales team of the website has
immediately been excellent and proven its reliability.
The results were very good, especially in terms of
visibility and employer branding. The reactivity of
the team is also very good, e.g. when we want to post
a listing or if changes are needed. The relationship is
essential for us. It is better to work with human beings
than with automats. From this point of view, the service
of jobs.lu is excellent.
Are you satisfied with the number and quality of
applications received via jobs.lu?
We put almost all our ads on jobs.lu except for a few more
confidential positions. It is our first recruitment source:
each year we carry out at least 50% of our recruitments
via the website. We have several slots available. For quite
generic profiles, we have a lot of returns and qualitative
applications. Three questions are inserted to our ads,
which the candidates must answer, depending on the
desired profiles. It allows us to filter the candidates. For
specific profiles, we extend our search to neighbouring

more restricted. The collaboration with Cadremploi.fr in
France, StepStone.be in Belgium and StepStone.de in
Germany allows us to expand our research. We signed
a few months ago and the first returns were good.
We recruited someone in the retention department
through this way.
What are the strengths of jobs.lu?
The returns are numerous but also very fast. For
example we get easily about 100 to 120 applications
in one month for a sales job. Some of our ads were
removed after a few weeks because we quickly found
the right candidate. Additional statistics show us the
numbers of clicks per ad or number of applications
received via the website. But the great advantage of
the website remains the flexibility, availability and
politeness of the team. In this field, you can hardly do
better.
Launched in January 2007 as part of the Irish
Saongroup, jobs.lu quickly established itself as one of
the main recruitment websites on the Luxembourgish
market. Then in November 2013, with the acquisition of
Saongroup by StepStone, part of German Axel Springer,
and the exclusive partnership with The Network, jobs.lu
becomes the Luxembourgish benchmark regarding
online recruitment and keeps developing in order to
