NO. 1 SONG
to his second single, 2003’s “My Last Name,” the nostalgic title
tells of lessons learned and commemorates his beliefs. Reminders
of these lessons can be found even in an old white truck, which
Bentley still does have in his driveway – you can take our word
for it.
If you haven’t already, check out the official “I Hold On” music
video, directed by Wes Edwards.
Also, check him out on the road for the Riser Tour, which kicks
off on May 9 in Charlotte, N.C. Various opening acts will join the
Capitol Nashville recording artist on the road this year, including
Chris Young, Jon Pardi and Chase Rice.
•••
If as they say, the cream rises to the
top, it very well may be true that
Dierks Bentley’s “I Hold On” is of
the grade AA, grass fed, pasture
raised, organic variety.
The supremely written title from
Bentley and Brett James came as
the second single from Bentley’s
forthcoming, seventh studio album
Riser. Expected on Feb. 25, Riser is currently available for preorder at digital retailers.
These are the kinds of lyrics that define who Bentley is. Similar
