An uncomfortably intimate insight into the life of Lenny McLean, who rose up
through 1970s East End London to become the most feared bare-knuckle fighter
of all time. Norwegian auteur Eva Sørhaug directs her own screenplay of this true
story, composing a film of seven scenes, each shot in one real-time, continuous
take, forming a unflinching character study set in the year 1976 when McLean
was just 27 years old.

BAFTA-winner Sharon Horgan directs Academy Award-winner Fran Poletti’s
comedy screenplay about 25 year-old New Yorker Ava who, discontent in her
modern world, receives an invitation to a new government scheme: Meet Me In
Ten Years. In the form of a speed date in the basement of a Chinese restaurant, a
handful of other 25-year-olds are selected to meet themselves – from ten years in
the future. But the pair risk a collapse of the space-time continuum by going on the
run to change their destiny.

story of the Pulitzer prize winning author.

A celebrated experimental auteur and artist, Andrew Kotting brings to screen Hattie
Naylor’s play about the extraordinary true story of a starving child who walks out of
his home and onto the wintry streets of Moscow, adopted by a pack of wild dogs,
he must struggle to stay alive. Using old film archive from the UK and Russia, the
saga will unfold through Ivan’s haunting voice-over and compelling sound design,
with the denouement shot on location in Chile.

For most people, running a marathon is a lifetime achievement to cherish and be
proud of, but for Alex Smith this is only the beginning. He intends to complete an
Ironman, known as the toughest single day challenge you can undertake. Many
people do not finish, some even die, and Alex will also be carrying his 35kg disabled
son the whole way. And if all this were not enough, he also intends to do it in a world
record time. And why? Because his son does not have time, as he is dying from a
fatal muscle wasting disease, Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
