On machines with multiple
cutting units (3) or (5) the rear
cutting units cut approximately
23% less grass than the front
cutting units due to the overlap
created by the front cutting
units..
Therefore if the rear cutting units
have the same ground weight as
the front cutting units and are
mowing less grass then the
effective height of cut on the rear
cutting units can be lower
causing a height mismatch in the
aftercut appearance.
