♦Imperial Lamian (6 W. Hubbard St.)
Imperial Lamian is a Chinese restaurant that will serve
up Lamian, or hand-pulled noodles from the Shanxi
province that are portioned, stretched and boiled to
order. The restaurant also plans to serve dumplings, in
soup and dim sum. Imperial Lamian is slated to open March in the
River North neighborhood.
We Recommend
♦The Peninsula Chicago (108 E. Superior St.)
Designed with the luxury traveler in mind, the
new guest rooms are the most technologically advanced in the world. Drawing influence from the
French Deco style of the hotel’s public spaces, the
new room is intentionally suited for both the
business and leisure traveler. Designer Bill Rooney approached the
design taking cues from luxury yachts, with fine wood finishes, lush
fabrics, rich leathers, and a sense of purpose where everything has
its place. Renovations are slated to be completed by mid-April 2016!
