Building and Trades Construc tion
HCC’s building and trades construction
services include gathering centers, oil
refineries, industrial process facilities,
module installation, and electrical
infrastructure installation. HCC completed
some of Alaska’s largest building and trades
projects. We first earned a reputation for
efficiency and quality by constructing the
low pressure separation facility at Gathering
Center 2 in 1984. HCC has since built two
oil refineries, repaired three waste-gas
incinerators, and performed extensive
module installations.

Pip eline Maintenance
HCC’s maintenance services include oil and gas
pipelines in process and transportation facilities.
HCC has provided pipeline and process facility
maintenance for more than 20 years, including
maintenance services for the 800-mile Trans Alaska
Pipeline, the Valdez Marine Terminal, and the
extensive equipment fleet used for maintaining the
pipeline system. The work included major repairs to
the crude oil tanks and oil loading berths, repairs to
and replacement of corroded large bore mainline
pipe and valve components, and upgrades to
complex electrical, communications, and
mechanical systems. HCC also provided complete
materials logistics, Operator Qualification (OQ)
training, and human resources to meet federal
regulations, as well as oil spill contingency response
teams for the entire Trans Alaska Pipeline System.
