Small is Beautiful, which was first established in 1974, invites selected contemporary artists working in any media to present works with a fixed economy of scale, each piece measuring a maximum of 9 x 7 inches. On display in the Chelsea gallery will be works by an international roster of gallery artists and invited guests, with an emphasis on US based artists. This will include Aleah Chapin, Eric Aho, Polly Borland, Malerie Marder, Richard Smith, Judith Murray, Shen Wei, Richard Tuschman, and Hrvoje Slovenc. As in previous years, Flowers Gallery gives a great opportunity for young, unrepresented or neglected artists a chance to shine alongside more established or famous artists. I bought my first and still treasured work of art from the 1st edition in 1974. - Matthew Flowers Aleah Chapin, Taste The Air, 2015, Oil on panel, 6 x 6 in Full list of participating artists in the New York edition: James Adelman Emily Adams Eric Aho Glenys Barton Bartholomew Beal George Blacklock Polly Borland Derek Boshier Vivian Bower Lex Braes Robert Brinker Dina Brodsky Juno Calypso John Carter Natasha Caruana Aleah Chapin Cedric Christie Adam Cross Rocio de Alba Peter Drake Jane Edden Elizabeth Enders Danielle Frankenthal Nick Gebhart Tara Geer Tom Hammick Heide Hatry David Hepher Carole Hodgson Peter Howson Patrick Hughes Laura Hynd Yungsun Jang Elisa Jensen Christian Johnson Darren Jones Lucy Jones Oliver Jones Pamela Joseph Nadav Kander John Keane Pru Kemball Bear Kirkpatrick Aaron Krach Naomie Kremer Mai La Thai Lisa Lebofsky Pablo Lerma Tim Lewis Pixy Yijun Liao James Linkous Andrew Logan Daniel Maidman Malerie Marder Jamie Martinez Ayumi Matsuba Shaun McCracken John McLean Nick Mead Rebecca Meanley Cobi Moules Paul Moreno Ishbel Myerscough Hugh O’Donnell Jiro Osuga Freya Payne Tom Phillips Martin Potts Simon Roberts Carol Robertson Mariah Robertson Kathy Ruttenberg Nicolas V.
