Christmas Basket Program
As part of our Christmas Basket Program, we are asking
all parishioners to bring toys to Mass on the weekend of
December 19-20. Your donated toys will be given to needy
families who contact St. Clare for assistance during the Christmas Holiday. The toys will be included in the presentation of
the gifts at Mass with the assistance of the children of our
Parish.
PRAY THE ROSARY
FOR WORLD PEACE
When the human
heart is burdened and
heavy with guilt,
God’s desire is to give
us a new heart
through the grace of
conversion. With the
help of the Spirit,
we are given the
strength to seek and
trust God’s merciful
forgiveness so that
we might have a fresh
and new start in our
relationship with Him.
Amen.

Primera Lectura - Miqueas 5:1-4
A Letter from a Visitor:
Segunda Lectura - Hebreos 10:5-10
We were guests at your 9:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, December 6th. We heard your appeal for baskets for the poor for
Christmas. We also heard the call for toys.
We are sending you a check for $500.00 to be used for
those Christmas gifts and baskets.
We have been to St. Clare many times when we visit Berea. We admire your community of very friendly people.
May God truly reward your Church with a very strong and
faith filled community.
Merry Christmas and God Bless.
No estaba tan
George and Dorothy Williams (from Ohio)
Lectura del Santo Evangelio según
San Lucas 1:39-45
Christmas Prayer
Nuestra cultura
A Root shall come forth from the stock of Jesse And a Flower
shall rise out of his root! And the spirit of the Lord shall rest
upon Him the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the
spirit of counsel and of fortitude, the spirit of knowledge and
of godliness. The people that walked in darkness shall see a
great light, For a Child is born to us and a Son is given to us.
To Him all power shall be given. His Name shall be: Wonderful One, Strong God, Eternal One, Prince of Peace. He shall sit
on the throne of David, And He will found a new Covenant
which will last for ever and ever. Amen.

L
latino.
Para la reflexión
¿Qué he recibido últimamente que me ha
hecho feliz? ¿He pensado en cómo transmitirlo?

Electronic Giving
If you can’t make it to Church due to travel or other commitments, we encourage you to automate your regular donation.
The Church relies on the consistent financial support of the congregation and electronic giving offers, an easy way to give on a
recurring basis. Please visit our website (stclareberea.org) and
locate the giving page.
Flowers for the Church
We are asking you to consider donating some flowers for the
Church. Would you be willing to share a nice bunch of flowers
from your yard/garden to enhance the beauty of our Altar setting? We hope we can count on you for this generosity all year
round. Thank you for your support! Please let Marie Rowland
know if your are able to make this kind of donation. Thank you.
Christmas Poinsettias
It may be a little early, but it’s almost time to
think about poinsettias for Christmas. If you
would like to help make our sanctuary beautiful for Christmas Liturgies, perhaps in
memory or in honor of someone special,
please consider doing so. After the holidays,
take your plants home to enjoy. More information later!
