Serving the communities in the Haut-SaintLaurent and the surrounding areas, the Chateauguay Valley CLC offers educational, social, recreational and family activities throughout various schools and centers. Chateauguay Valley Community Learning Centre Learn about local FREE community organizations and government services available for you and your family. Monday February 2nd-March 30th Ages 2 ½ to 5 • 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. $ 35/ 8 weeks It’s never too early to start moving! This class will incorporate different forms of stretching, yoga, dance and gymnastics. (Kids must be able to participate without parental guidance.) Minimum of 6, maximum of 15 children per class Drawing & Painting Tuesday • 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. $ 150 Starting Spring 2015 for 8 weeks Photography Club Every second Tuesday - January 6th Finishes in June 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. • $30 Spinning Monday & Thursday • 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Begins January 19th\ Drop in $10, 5 classes/$35, 1 course a week/$65, 2 courses week/$120 Spinning class has an instructor at the front of the class leading participants through routines designed to simulate riding a bike outdoors. Using music, motivation and enthusiasm, the teacher leads you through a ride which can include hill climbs, sprints and intervals. To guarantee a bike, monthly reservation is preferred. Futsal is a form of indoor soccer that is played 5 against 5 with a special ball (ball bounces much less than normal soccer ball, so ideal for a gym!). This sport has been practiced in South America for quite some time and is known to be an excellent way to improve your technique and game for outdoor soccer. Sportswear, a pair of shin pads and soccer socks, indoor running or indoor soccer shoes. Adults and children 12 years and older accompanied by an adult.As we have a brand new gym floor, please help us keep it in good condition by wearing indoor shoes only. Thanks for your support!
