The Girls Cast interviews Natalie Richardson Age: 32 OccupaRon: Housewife and make-‐up tagooist Former model, sociable, straight talking and stylish How long have you been in Marbella? I’ve lived in Marbella for about four years. I’ve got two ligle girls but I consider myself the ‘Marbie Barbie’ of the bunch. I’m very glamorous and fun! I think I am outgoing. Cassie would describe me as a snob. What do you do for a living? I’m a housewife. My husband is a businessman, he’s got businesses in Marbella and Dubai. He has a nightclub in Dubai that he’s planning to open a franchise of in London as well. He’s also got some bars and restaurants. Have you got the best lifestyle out here? Totally, I’m really happy. I love to be pampered, I go shopping all the 2me, have lunches with my friends, we go out on boats. It’s all about the glam life with me. Will people watching be jealous of your lifestyle? I think there’s a lot of jealousy in Marbella anyway. When they watch us they will definitely be jealous, it’s human nature for girls to be bitchy. When you see someone doing well it’s hard not to be jealous. You can say what you like to me, I am an open and honest person, if you want to scru2nise me then go ahead because I really don’t care. I’m having a fabulous 2me and I don’t care what you may think about me. Do you think they will criRcise you for living off your rich husband? I think people will hate me. I was never going to have a poor husband, I wouldn’t want one. I’m honest about it. I’ve always dated celebri2es and I’ve got used to a certain lifestyle. I wouldn’t want to not live this lifestyle, no way. What’s the most expensive thing you have bought? Probably my car, I bought myself a Porsche. I’ve also got lots of jewellery too which is really expensive. I like the finer things in life, I don’t want anything cheap or nasty. Why did you want to do this show? I’m doing it with Cassie who is my best friend and I thought it would be a fun experience. You’ve done a few kiss and tells on the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Gary Lucy and Calum Best… Yeah, but that feels like a life2me ago. With the whole Leonardo thing I was young, in Paris and having fun. Who cares? I was having a great 2me and there are worst things to do than Leonardo, let’s face it! Why so many kiss and tells? Well with Leonardo it was about the money. I was in Paris and they had all the pap pictures anyway so it was obviously going to come out. I don’t regret it, or the ones on Calum and Gary. I don’t care if that all comes out again, it’s out there anyway. What do you think they will make of you doing this show? I hope they will be happy for me. I’ve stayed in touch with Calum so I am sure he will be happy. I’m sure Leonardo has forgogen me already! I was a page three girl so I can’t have regrets. Cast interviews Natalie Richardson Q&A conRnued What does your husband think about your past? I’m very different to the girl I was back then. Now I am a mum and a wife. Back then I was young, single and having fun, he understands that. I say when you’re young you should just go for it and have fun, get it out of your system so that when you get married and have kids you don’t do it anymore. Have a blow out when you are young enough to do it. Are you se\led now then? I’m definitely segled but I s2ll have a wild side. I’m loving doing all the photo-‐shoots that come with being on the show and in terms of partying, it’s not really what I do now because I have to get up and do the school run. What can fans expect to see of you in the show? You’ll see a lot of glamorous stuff because we lead a glamorous lifestyle, but there’s also a lot of drama, bitchiness and the calights that go with it. I had a big fall out with Felicity. She found out what she thought was a bit of gossip and tried to spread it round Marbella. I don’t know why, maybe she wanted to bring me down. You can pick on me all you want and slag me off but if effects my family then you’ve crossed a line. I’m a lioness when it comes to my family. Well, I’m only ligle so maybe I’m more like a chihuahua with a big bite. Are there different social circles in Marbella? Yeah, you’ve got the millionaires and then it goes down to the normal working people. I’m in the millionaire's circle. There’s definitely a divide between those on the front street and those who go to the back street. What does your husband think about you doing this? He didn’t want me to do it and won’t be in it at all. He’s really private but he didn’t have any choice, I wanted to do it. Whatever I want, I get. How will this show compare with other reality shows like TOWIE and Made In Chelsea? I think the difference is that with this show you have loads of different groups of people. You’ve got the housewives, the playboys, the PR guys and the workers. It’s a mixture of all the other reality shows rolled into one. Then there’s the sunshine so we are all parading around in our ligle bikinis. In Essex you’ve just got rain! Our show will be the best, I’m on it! Cast interviews Alex Weaver Age: 19 OccupaRon: Features editor for Marbella Rocks Magazine Fun & flirty, Alex is the newest edi2on to Marbella How would you describe yourself? Well I am 19, so I am the baby of the cast. I moved out here in February. I think I am bubbly and fun, at least my friends think I am. I forced my friend Jordan to come out here for the summer because I wanted to have some fun. Are you single? I am right now, but boys are a massive no go area for me at the moment. Maybe in the future I will have a rela2onship but at the moment I just want to enjoy myself with the girls, go out and have a good 2me. Why is Marbella be\er than Britain? There’s sun, sea and sangria -‐ what more can you ask for? We hang out on the beach and have a good 2me. Marbella has an image of being full of rich people, is that the case? We’re not but all our friends are millionaires so they help us get by. It’s a good life. When me and Jordan moved out here we didn’t know anyone so you have to put yourself out there and introduce yourself to people. We have ended up mee2ng friends for life. What’s an average day in Marbella like for you? We get up about 1pm and head to the pool where we have lunch and then plan what we are going to do in the night. Each day seems to roll into one out here because there is so much to do. Everyday we say we are going to have a quiet night and then there’s an event somewhere. It’s mad out here, you never want to miss out on an opportunity. It’s like a non-‐stop holiday, I’m having the 2me of my life. What’s a night out in Marbella like then? It’s a bit like Essex, everyone wants to be beger than everyone else. In Essex you go to Sugar Hut and everyone wants to have the biggest table and the most drinks. It’s just the same out here… but the clubs are beger. What’s the social scene like, is it bitchy? I haven’t experienced any of that. Me and Jordan came out here with a clean slate, we didn’t know anyone and made friends out here. We’ve been very open minded so we haven’t had any bitchiness from other people. We’re just out here to have fun. Is there any scandal? You’ll have to tune in to find out! Put it this way, me and Jordan fall in love -‐ a lot! There is a lot of boy scandal. How would you compare this show to TOWIE or Made In Chelsea? I think our show is a lot more fun and we’re not scared to make a fool of ourselves. It’s different from Made In Chelsea because we’ve got such a spectrum of different people. We have people who are just as posh and rich as those in Chelsea but then you’ve got the likes of me and Jordan, Essex girls in white s2legos drinking wine mixed with lemonade. Are you ready for the fame that this show could bring you? My ex-‐boyfriend is best mates with Sam Faiers so I have picked up a lot from her. I think with the whole fame thing, for me, it’s exci2ng. I have always wanted to get into TV presen2ng so this is something I have always taken to. Cast interviews Alex Weaver Q&A conRnued Has Sam given you any advice? What she and all the TOWIE lot that came over here have said is that I have to be careful now that I am going to be in the public eye. If you had told me last year that I would be in Marbella and doing a show like this, I would never have believed you. Hopefully I can show people that if they put themselves out there and are confident, then they can achieve anything they want to. Patsy Palmer is your godmother, what has she said about you being in the show? I call her my East End aun2e. I was in OK magazine when I was younger because I was a bridesmaid at her wedding. She went to school with my mum, they are best friends and have been for years. She’s always looked a_er us and we go on holiday together. I told her about the show and she was so excited for me. She just said to be myself and at the end of the day everyone makes mistakes, so if I make one while I’m on the show then it’s OK. I just have to show that I am young and just having fun. She said it’s down to me to learn from every mistake I make. And she said not to worry if I ever feel overwhelmed doing this show because I have the poten2al to achieve a lot by doing it. They are all really excited and happy for me. My mum always says I am more like Patsy’s daughter than her own because when Pasty and I get together, we’re so similar as we don’t do anything. We just enjoy sirng around and doing nothing. Do you have any other celebrity connecRons? I grew up in the East End so people like Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani have always been in my life. Dani went to school with my cousin so I have known her for years and have been to all the Dyer par2es and stuff. I know Simon Webbe too because my aun2e used to clean his house! I met him out once and he bought me a drink! Why do you think people should watch this show? I think this show is so much fun, it’s all about enjoying your life and what beger way to do that than in a sunny, beau2ful town like this. There’s going to be lots of drama and lots of fun so you should definitely tune in. Cast interviews Jordan Sargeant Age: 23 OccupaRon: Head of Sales Marbella Rocks Magazine Essex girl Jordan, who joins BFF Alex, says ‘drama just follows me’ Your best mate Alex persuaded you to come out to Marbella, did it take much convincing? It did actually, it took a couple of months. She moved here in February and then hounded me to come out here too. She would call my work phone every day trying to get me to come out. I’d look at my phone and she would be face-‐2ming me from the beach. In the end I thought it would be great to be out here for the summer having fun with my friend. It’s an amazing opportunity. Why is Marbella the best place? I’ve always loved Marbella. I come out here every year with my family. I’m from Essex so it’s not that much different. I s2ll get to see all my mates all the 2me because they are always out here every weekend. Marbella has an image of being full of rich people, is that the case? I don’t think so because me and Alex are not exactly millionaires, although all our friends seem to be! But we s2ll lead this lavish life on normal money. We are more boys type of girls. We have beger banter with the boys than we do with the girls. If you are not rich, how do you fund your lifestyle? I basically gave up everything to come out here. I sold my car and started saving. I stopped my Essex lifestyle to start saving for my Marbella summer. I had quite a bit of money saved from my job and then I sold my car, it’s slowly running out though. What’s the most your group of mates have spent on a night out? We don’t get to look at the bill, it’s taken care of. We never pick them up so I have no idea. I did offer to pay once and they said no. We do other things, we boost the morale in the group and make them look pregy. Is there any scandal? I have a lot of boy drama. I wear my heart on my sleeve and fall in love really easily. The men are massive players out here. They reel you in as friends and then you fall in love. We always say that drama follows us and it’s true. Are you ready for the fame that this show could bring you? I’m best friends with Ferne from TOWIE so I have seen what a show like this can bring. I can see the good and the bad. Drama follows me everywhere, I’m always told that people think a camera crew should follow me around. So I’ve been wai2ng for the fame, bring it on. Has Ferne given you any advice about being on the show? I have had some very good advice from Ferne. She’s given advice on what to do in my personal life and work. She’s very vocal, as everyone knows, so she’s been telling me what to do. It’s amazing to have someone like her, who has been through it all herself, who can point me in the right direc2on. When it comes to my love life she told me to do the opposite of everything I am doing! She’s trying to drill into me what’s right and wrong. Cast interviews Jordan Sargeant Q&A conRnued Do you have any celebrity connecRons? I kissed Frankie Cocozza once! It was in Sugar Hut. He swept me off my feet, it’s all the tagoos and the hair! I know all the girls from TOWIE, Lucy and Sam in par2cular because I went to school with them. Why do you think people should watch this show? It’s going to be carnage! We’re bringing the Essex drama to Marbella! Cast interviews Cassie Rowan Age: 28 OccupaRon: ¾ Housewife, ¼ Beau2cian Wigy, glamorous & sociable, Cassie grew up in Marbs and has ‘no edit bugon’ What brought you to Marbella? My parents are Scorsh but I have lived here since I was a baby so I am probably the longest in the cast to have lived in Marbella. What type of person are you? I think I am the joker of the group. If there’s a serious situa2on I can’t take it seriously, I have to laugh it off. If there’s any awkwardness then I have to crack an inappropriate joke which always gets me in trouble. What do you do for a living? I’m a housewife but I do work a couple of days a week. I’m semi-‐re2red. My partner works on the oil rigs in South Africa, so he’s away for a certain amount of 2me. It’s tough, but it’s nice at the same 2me because when he’s home we have four weeks of intense 2me together and then he’s away working, so we make the most of our 2me. Do you think they will criRcise you for living off your rich husband? It’s not like both Natalie, my friend here, and I haven’t worked, we have in the past but now we don’t have to. And anyway, we’re 28 and 32, we’re exhausted. Have you got the best lifestyle out here? Oh definitely, it’s the best. The champagne is always flowing. We don’t spray it, we drink it! The spray par2es are good though. What’s your most extravagant purchase? Well, I’ve got a Range Rover or maybe my watch, I bought myself a Car2er, I don’t want to say how much it was, but it was expensive. I do love a ligle bargain though. Why did you want to do this show? It sounded like fun and I grew up here so if anyone is going to do it it’s got to be someone who has grown up here. I have seen Marbella from all different sides, I went to school here, I’ve worked here and now I’m enjoying life here. I have Natalie, my best friend, by my side and we laugh every single day. Do you and Natalie get yourself in trouble? I try and egg her on all the 2me. She has two glasses of champagne and she’s drunk so I’ll be dragging her around the bars. I’m definitely a bad influence on her. We don’t take ourselves seriously, we love to have a laugh. Natalie has had a few bust-‐ups with other cast including Felicity, do you defend her? I’m a very loyal friend and very defensive. When people say or do anything to me it’s like water off a duck’s back. But if somebody does something to my friend it really does affect me. We have both got each other’s back, it’s so good that we are doing this show together. In Marbella you can have enough enemies, you don’t need more. I think with Felicity it might have been her way of trying to get into a different social circle, she thought spreading gossip would help. Cast interviews Cassie Rowan Q&A conRnued Are there different social circles in Marbella? It’s a big mel2ng pot. I’ve got friends who are millionaires, but I’ve also got friends who work in the clubs down at the port. I think everyone is friends with everyone. It’s just about how you want to party, some like to go out and get drunk while holding an inflatable penis and others want to be in Pangea buying bogles of Cristal. Will fans see your partner in the show? He’s popped in for our engagement party and our wedding planning mee2ng. He had no choice, I dragged him in! Why should fans tune in to Life On Marbs? People should tune in because it’s like nothing they have seen before. It’s glamorous, it’s fun and it’s all different walks of life in one of the best loca2ons in the world. We’ve got the weather and the wealth, it’s a millionaires playground. It’s going to be amazing. Cast interviews Felicity Faye Kidd Age: 28 OccupaRon: Owner of Marbella Dress Company Former Virgin flight agendant who’s a magnet for drama How would you describe yourself? I’m a single mum of a six year old boy and I’ve lived over here for two years. I run the Marbella dress company. What do you make of Marbella? I was brought out here by my ex boyfriend, so whether I would necessarily have moved here on my own, I don’t know. But I set up my life here and my business here. I think it’s great being in Marbella when you are bringing up a child at a young age, at home he couldn’t play outside as much as he does here. Was your ex a millionaire? Yeah, he was a wealthy businessman. I was an air hostess and we met on the way to Vegas. He was dressed as Elvis. He had recently cancelled his wedding but decided to go on the stag anyway. I met him on the flight. I moved to Gibraltar originally because that’s where he was. We bought a place in Marbella for the weekends but then decided it would be beger to live here because of my son. you are on your own? How does it feel not having all that money now that break-‐up was tough, it was out of the blue and a bit of a It’s very different, it was a shock to the system. The shock. I was homeless overnight, going from driving god knows what car and having money to spend on whatever I wanted to having nothing. I fought for my self-‐worth, I wanted to provide for my son because he had just lost his father figure. I didn’t want to take him away from his friends so I have worked as hard as I can to make it work here. It’s not been easy but I am proud of myself for doing that. What’s an average day like for you? My lifestyle is very different. It’s very easy to get carried away, especially if you meet a friend for lunch and the cava is flowing. The Spanish see drinking very differently to us, for example Costa and McDonalds sell alcohol out here. On an average day I take my son to school and then try and fit a gym session in. I work on my website and if I am having a mee2ng then there will be a glass of cava involved. Is Marbella dripping with money? I’m not now but some people in the show are. There is mass wealth here in terms of concentrated wealth. You get lots of interna2onal people here and they all have money. That’s why it appears to be so wealthy because all the rich people from all over Europe, Russia and the Far East all come here. Those who stay all year round, it’s a bit different. How will this show compare to TOWIE or Made In Chelsea? It’s very different, we’ve got age ranges from 18 to 54. We’re all different, from different backgrounds, different levels of wealth and educa2on. I think it will deliver a different show. TOWIE propelled the likes of Mark Wright and Sam Faiers into the celebrity world, do you want to be famous? I just want to provide for my son. I’ve gone from having money to having nothing, so I just want to make sure we are safe and secure and never be put in another posi2on like the one I was in before. Cast interviews Felicity Faye Kidd Q&A conRnued Will fans be seeing some ca_ights on the show? You will be seeing a lot of calights on the show. I’ve had a few disagreements, especially with Natalie Richardson. We’re all from different backgrounds and deal with things differently. I have caused some upset because I googled something about her and sent it to someone else, she found out down the line and it all kicked off. It’s not been an ideal situa2on and I do feel bad for what I have done but whether or not my apology has been taken on board is another mager. What’s the most extravagant thing you have bought? When I was with my ex? A private jet, he was very flashy. Do you have any love drama on the show? Well, at the moment I’m single and I can’t meet a nice man here so I don’t think it’s ever going to happen! Why should people watch the show? You’re going to see a really different mix of people all brought together in this holiday des2na2on. It’s interes2ng to see how we all interact with each other and how people live out their different lives. You have the party scene, there’s the workers and then the rich mums at home. There’s something for everyone. It’s a cauldron of chaos. Cast interviews Danni Levy Age: 31 OccupaRon: Fitness Trainer / Journalist Ambi2ous, fun and with a figure to die for What do you do in Marbella? I’ve been here since September and have been doing fitness. I write a lot of blogs about fitness and I also train people. I do train celebri2es but I’m not allowed to say who because a lot of them are my friends. But I also train special cases, for example, I’ve worked with a guy who if I didn’t help him get into shape then he was going to die. That’s what gives me more job sa2sfac2on than someone else who just wants to lose weight to look good. To be able to turn someone’s life around where it can poten2ally save their life is a worthwhile thing to do and something that rights all my wrongs when I go out and have too many drinks! What’s an average day like for you? I’m working on my fitness website so I am doing a lot of filming for that. I combine the mental with the physical at the moment but I do normally finish the day with a glass of cava! It’s a lot harder not to drink and smoke here than it is in the UK. When you’re driving home in Britain the prospect of stopping off at the pub is not very appealing, it’s dark and grey, so you go home and watch the soaps. Here you just want to be outside in the sunshine. So most days do involve some sort of social situa2on. Do you like the fact people flash their cash in Marbella? No, I can’t stand it. To me money is not that important. Obviously we would all like more so we can buy a Ferrari or a mansion but I have never been agracted to wealthy men because I tend to find them arrogant. But it makes the place nicer because let’s face it, if there wasn’t the money here to be spend then we wouldn’t be able to come and enjoy these nice places because we’d be in Southend on Sea. Their cash injec2on does enhance the area. How will this show compare to TOWIE or Made In Chelsea? I think it’s going to be a mixture of the two because you have the Essex lot and then there are the people with money. So you get the best of both worlds, it’s very different. What shows have you been offered before? I’ve been offered a lot of different shows mainly involving my family. They are wealthy but I’m not. People automa2cally assume that I get money from my dad but I don’t. My dad Robin is a millionaire, he builds mul2-‐ million pound proper2es and also develops nightclubs and restaurants. I’ve been through some really tough 2mes financially but I haven’t asked my dad for help because I want to do it on my own. I’ve never had a penny from them. I don’t want to be portrayed as the rich kid or the daddy’s girl. I have money phobia. I’ve got this huge thing going on about self-‐respect, I don’t want to take money from anyone, I want to do it myself. I don’t think my dad even wants to help me because he wants me to stand on my own two feet. What surgery have you had? The only money I really spend is on boob jobs, I’ve had four. I had one while I was on the show and now I want a fi_h. I’ve been told that I am heading for a ‘Ka2e Price’ and will end up with no boobs le_. Are you looking for love? No, I’ve got a boyfriend called Jake but he’s not in the show. I love him to bits. Why should people watch the show? People should watch the show because they will get to see my arse and boobs loads! I don’t like wearing clothes -‐ I’m always in a bikini! This is totally new, you’re not going to know what’s coming round the corner. Everyday there’s a new drama. You have to be really strong to survive here. Cast interviews Lina Hodgkins Age: 54 OccupaRon: Runs Linekers Group Independent Lina is o_en referred to as ‘Mummy Marbella’ What brings you to Marbella? I've been here 11 years. I had been coming here for holidays and then one year I decided to take six months off, came here and never le_. I consider myself to be ‘Mummy Marbella’. I'm the marke2ng director of Linekers Group which is eight businesses in Marbella. I also look a_er all the stag and hen par2es that come over here, we've got 40,000 people coming this year so I am quite a busy lady. Why is Marbella be\er than Britain? Hello! The sun of course. It's a lifestyle change over here. In England everyone is rushing around from one place to the next, over here you have to get used to the Spanish way of life which is very slow. You meet different people every single week, Marbella is so diverse. Marbella is known to be full of rich people, are you rich? No, I earn a good living. But to live here you do need to have a certain level of wealth because everything is so expensive. I think this series will show the diversity of Marbella because not everybody is dripping with wealth. Yes there is a lot of wealth here but there are a lot of normal people here as well, whatever normal may be. Is there a divide between the super rich and the rest? No, this is why I love Marbella because I don't think there is a divide between the super rich and everyone else. I know people the same as me and I know extremely wealthy people as well and we all s2ll go to the same places. There's no age or money barriers here. Will there be a lot of bitching? I'm mainly with Suzy on the show and we're probably all about the comedy. We bounce off each other. I haven't had any big rows with anyone yet. I'm very honest and I think some2mes people won't like my honesty so when they see it they may not like it. I don't hold back. People are going to either absolutely love me or absolutely hate me when they watch this show. Will we see you in any ca_ights? There's been nothing yet but if it comes to me then I'll deal with it. I'm extremely fierce. I can annihilate people with words, I don't need to get physical. I can destroy them with words because people who scream and shout are usually not that clever. It's beger to listen to them and then destroy them. We here you are tough on your staff? I have a thing with all the female staff that it's all about 2ts and teeth. Is that sexist? I don't care. I just think that if people are on holiday they want to see glamour. So when girls come to work for me it's all about 2ts and teeth. I say to them that when they come to work, whatever 2me of day they start, dress like it's their last night in Marbella, so 2ts and teeth girls please! How's your love life? I don't have any love. What am I looking for? A man with a pulse and their own teeth! They must have their own teeth, I couldn't stand being with someone who has to take their teeth out. I just want someone normal, I'm self sufficient so I don't need anyone to look a_er me. Wealth doesn't come into it, that said, I don't want a pauper who I have to keep. They have to have a job, be single, around my age and have their own teeth. It's not a big order is it? Cast interviews Lina Hodgkins Q&A conRnued Do you have any celebrity connecRons? It's all through work really so I know the a TOWIE lot. Then there's people like Ricky Hagon, he's been here for the last few days, he's s2ll out dancing with no top on. People think you're to blame for lowering the tone of Marbella because you bring all the stag and hen parRes here, what do you make of that? I feel very passionate about this. When I started working here there was a gap in the market and I did bring the stag and hen par2es over here because they were coming anyway but there was no where to go. I gave them somewhere to go, I gave them the best night out. I've had some girls come here ten years in a row. I've done their hen par2es and I've done their divorce par2es. They love it. Every single business want those people. Some of the rich can sit back and say they just want the luxury Marbella, but without these people there would be no Puerto Banús. It's about people having a great 2me and being able to see all the wealth, to be part of that life. People save up all year to come here and have a good 2me, and I can deliver that good 2me. So when people say I have lowered the tone, I don't care because these people are having the best 2me of their lives and why shouldn't they? It's just people being snobby. I just don't think you can turn people away simply because they are not wealthy enough. What can people expect from this series? I think people will find it funny, there's lots of drama, and there's something and someone for everybody. You've got 18 year olds right up to the likes of me, I'm 54 but I'm s2ll rocking it and I'm peri-‐menopausal too. Cast interviews Suzy White Age: 34 OccupaRon: Works part-‐2me at Poolside, aspiring singer Flirty, ditzy and a hopeless roman2c What brings you to Marbella? I've been in Marbella 12 years, I came over as a lap dancer. I met the father of my daughter Lily. I fell pregnant a year later so I stayed over here. We split up four years ago but we have stayed really good friends. I worked for Lina for a bit but I got suspended twice because I turned up drunk. Are you wealthy? I'm lucky because Lily's father looks a_er my house and pays all the bills so the only thing I need to earn money for is hair, make-‐up, false eyelashes and clothes. What's an average day like for you? It usually involves the beach or going to one of the pools to sunbathe. I'll have lunch with my friends and we plan what we're going to do in the evenings. I go out with Lina, we'll go to the beach at say 2 o'clock and the drinks start flowing, we call them our wonky Wednesdays. We have been known to end up in a club at 5 0'clock in the morning s2ll wearing the same clothes from the day. We think we look amazing. Is there much romance in the show? Well, I'm more interested in finding Lina a man. I'm like Cilla Black! But now everyone in the cast has jumped on the bandwagon and there's a bit of a bet going on who can find her a man. It's gerng really compe22ve. But there's not enough hours in the day to find her the right man. Do you have any celebrity connecRons? I have quite a few. I'm friends with Alesha Dixon, I know her through my ex boyfriend. I'm really good friends with Natasha Hamilton, I went to her last wedding. I know a few of the Hollyoaks lot like Jennifer Metcalfe. They love the place, it's a frat resort for them to come and let their hair down. Do you think the super rich residents think the tone of Marbella has been ruined? I think you have a bit of everything in Marbella and there's something for everyone. Yes there are people who will come and drop ten grand on a table but there are some who have paid 50 euros. You can have it all, you can have your millionaires with their boats and then the people who like looking at them. Do you think even more people will come once they have seen the show? Absolutely, TOWIE had an impact so I'm sure this will to. There is so much diversity in the cast, so people can relate to at least one of us and will want to experience what we do. Will we see you having any love drama? I'm seeing someone, it's only been about four months but it's going ok. He's not on the show though, so we'll see what happens. What about ca_ights? Well, I'm not very good with words and if someone starts having a go at me I just start crying. I've got Lina though, she defends me. Why should people watch the show? We are all so real and say it how it is. There's so much drama too! Some will hate us and some will love us, but that's life! Cast interviews Lola Zambrana Age: 21 OccupaRon: Interior designer, model, VIP concierge Brains as well as beauty, Lola has previously been studying in NYC How have you ended up in Marbella? I grew up here, I’ve been here for most of my life. I went to New York to study and then I travelled around for a bit to find a des2na2on where I can segle down. I came back to Marbella because my family live here and I think it’s one of the best places in the world to live. What type of person are you? I’m a very outgoing, energe2c person. I love to travel because I hate rou2ne. I think I am a friendly person. Is Marbella full of rich people? Marbella is a very wealthy place. But if you go to the Old Town then it’s a very different story, that’s the actual Marbella. It’s the tradi2onal side of the town. But anything you want to do here you can. It’s like a city in the size of a town. Is there a divide between the wealthy and the workers? Yeah but we all do blend together. I think it’s more a divide between the tradi2onal people here, who can’t speak English, and the rest. If you live in Marbella then you’re likely to know everyone and go to the same places. The only difference is one spends £20,000 and the other £20. Are you wealthy? I am from a wealthy background. My dad works in real estate, that’s been the family business throughout my life. I don’t get hand-‐outs from my dad, I’ve been doing some modelling or hostessing at different places. I stand on my own two feet. Why did you agree to do this show? My ex is Adam, he’s in the show. So I got in because of him but I thought it was very interes2ng. It’s very hard to put my love life on display in a show like this because it does create tension. How are things between you and Adam? I think there are s2ll feelings on both sides. It’s just hard to be together, we have tried on and off many 2mes but it’s never really worked out so I decided it’s beger to break it off completely. Will there be a lot of tension between the two of you? Another guy came in, which Adam’s not happy about, he’s not even speaking to me right now. We had something in the past so there are a lot of fights. If I see him with another girl there’s going to be tension. There will be a lot of arguments. Is there any chance you might get back together? Yeah, I’ll never say never. In the future, if everything goes good, we probably will. As of now, we’re not even speaking to each other, so we’ll have to see. What I like about Adam is the way he acts with me, his personality. He’s a very friendly guy and he cares about the small details, he likes to make every day count. What I don’t like about him is that he has a crazy mind. He wants certain things that go with a certain lifestyle, but none of us are segled. He’s more of a night 2me guy and I’m more of a day2me girl so it’s hard. Cast interviews Lola Zambrana Q&A conRnued Do you like his brother Jeff? I’ve had my on and offs with Jeff. He can be a good guy, he’s just not in reality. When Adam and I were together Jeff was the third wheel in our rela2onship. To me he always said good things but I know it was different when he spoke to his brother. I do think Jeff needs Adam but he’s a bad influence on him. Jeff is very drama2c, from one thing he will make a thousand. He’s also a free spirit but I don’t think it’s right that Adam’s working and Jeff’s just there spraying champagne on him while he’s trying to work. They are brothers but they lead such a different life. What do you think fans will think about Jeff? I think people at home will love Jeff because he’s a fun guy. He’s just having fun throughout the whole show, so people will like to see that. Do you get on with all the girls in the show? I don’t know many of them to judge them. Alex is the one who I am closest to because I have spoken to here the most. At the beginning we didn’t get along because I thought she was a bit fake. But as I got to know her I realised she’s OK. What’s an average day like for you? Well right now I don’t have a job so it’s a bit of a mess. I usually wake up, hang out with my family, go to see my friends, go to the gym. I go out at the weekends but I’d rather chill and watch a movie. I’m not really a big spender on nights out, I don’t see the point of spending so much money. In Marbella I know all the promoters so wherever I go I get anything I want, I don’t really ever spend that much money. Why should people watch this show? People should watch the show because there are lots of rela2onships, it’s fun and there’s a lot of different people. I think they will be able to relate to either a person in the show or one of the rela2onships. Cast interviews Lauren Vyner Age: 22 OccupaRon: Works at the Golden Tarts Beauty Salon Outspoken, single and originally from Essex How long have you been in Marbella and what do you do? I’m originally from Essex but I have lived in Marbella for the last three years. I work in Golden Tarts salon. I’ve got a nice ligle life over here. In the salon we’ve all got nicknames, mine’s Loud Tart, I think that describes me well. I like being in the thick of it, I get bored otherwise. Is everyone loaded in Marbella? There are wealthy people but it’s not just about that. I’ve got a different lifestyle to other people on the show. I spend what I have got and s2ll manage to go to the same places as those with money and have a good 2me. You have to remember where you’re from as well as what you’re from. Just because I’m in Marbella doesn’t mean I go out on a yacht everyday. Anyone can live in Marbella, it doesn’t mager whether you are rich or poor, it’s about the people you hang around with. Look at the holidaymakers, some of them come out with loads of money, others don’t, yet you s2ll see them in the same places having the same amount of fun. Does it help that you work here? You do get looked a_er if you’re a worker out here. A lot of the guys who own the clubs and know that we work out here, when we turn up they’ll give us a free table and some booze. They look a_er us but then I’ll look a_er them when they come to Golden Tarts. It’s 2t for t at! Are you looking for a rich man? Money is everything, if you have it you don’t have to worry about it. There aren’t many people over here who don’t come from money. For me it’s more about when someone makes my tummy go funny and spoils me. Men will say we should go for dinner but I’d rather go out on a jet ski, something extreme and outrageous. What is Golden Tarts? It’s a beauty salon but it’s a brand more than a salon. We make sure people have an amazing 2me when they are with us. And we all have names, I’m Loud Tart, there’s also Ligle Miss Tart and Geek Tart, she does the accounts so she’s boring! Golden Tart is Sarah, who’s the big boss. There’s 26 of us, it’s crazy. Are you the hub for all the gossip in Marbella? Oh my god, yes. They come to us to get ready and then they come back the next day to get over their night out, so we hear everything that’s going on. We pregy much know everything that’s going on and if we don’t know it today, we’ll know it tomorrow. Is there anyone in the show you don’t like? I don’t like Jordan, I find her annoying. She’s so irrita2ng. When I meet someone I know instantly whether I am going to get along with them, and I think I am pregy easy going. With me and her, we just haven’t clicked. How do you think this will compare with Made In Chelsea and TOWIE? We are different groups, they are all one big clique. Everyone is very similar, they all come from the same background and have the same accents. With us, it’s different people, styles, wealth and a different atmosphere. If you haven’t been here before, we are going to give you plenty of reasons to come. Cast interviews Amy Carter Age: 24 OccupaRon: Co-‐owner of Golden Tarts Beauty Salon Wise beyond her years, ambi2ous Amy wants Golden Tart domina2on What do you do in Marbella? I’m one of the co-‐owners of Golden Tarts which is not only one of the best salons in Marbella, but in the world! I’ve been out here for about eight years, I moved over here to be closer to my step mum Sarah and my dad. I see Puerto Banus as my playground. I love working here and mee2ng all these different people from the wealth to the workers. For the most part I see myself as an observer, my life doesn’t revolve around the money that’s here. How would you describe yourself? I’m definitely a people person, I’m upbeat and like to see the good in everything and always the good side over the bad. Why did you want to do the show? It was a new experience and we wanted to beger ourselves as a brand. We want to promote Golden Tarts so any exposure is good exposure. I think for anyone coming out to Marbella then the show is great to tell them about the best places to go when they are here, including coming to see us. Why do you think Marbella is thought of as the b est place to be? I think it’s because you do get a big mix of people. I meet different people everyday, there’s always so much going on and there’s a story behind everyone as well. I’ll have someone come into the salon who is a princess of an Arab country, or I’ll have someone who has been saving for a year to come on holiday. I’ve never been anywhere else in the world where you get someone who lives in a mansion sirng next to someone who lives in a two bed flat. Some feel Marbella has been ruined by all the stag and hen parRes, what do you think? Marbella has always been on a pedestal but if it wasn’t for all the hen and stag par2es then business wouldn’t be as booming as it is now. We benefit massively from those groups of people. I think people are stuck in the mind-‐set that Marbella is just for the rich and famous but it’s not anymore, there’s room for everyone. Are you single? I’m seeing someone at the moment but it’s early days. He works away quite a lot, for example, he’s in Prague at the moment. Whenever he’s back we go on dates which is nice because I’m only young and don’t need to segle down. We’ll see how it goes. Do you feel like you know everything that goes on in Marbella because you hear all the gossip first hand? I think there’s a line in Mean Girls where someone asks why a girl’s hair is so big and it’s because it’s full of secrets. That’s how I feel! Everyone tells me their secrets and I can’t tell anyone else. We hear so much good gossip but it stays inside the walls of our salon. Are you hoping that being on the show will boost business for Golden Tarts? Honestly, ‘Tart’ domina2on is the way forward. We want to launch ourselves in places like Dubai and get our own products out there. We’d love to franchise the salons. We get a ridiculous amount of mobile jobs where the clients don’t want to come into the salon. For example, we’ve been hired to go to a yacht next week but it’s so big it can’t come into the port so we have to get boats out to it. We’ve been to palaces to work on members of the Saudi royal family, then we might go to a villa for a hen party. It goes from one extreme to another. Why should people what Life On Marbs? People should watch Life On Marbs because I’m awesome, we’re awesome and Marbella is awesome! Cast interviews Sarah Carter Age: 38 OccupaRon: Co-‐owner of Golden Tarts Beauty Salon Fiercely loyal, a good listener but is known to hold a grudge How long have you been in Marbella? I’ve just had my ten year anniversary! I ini2ally came because I wanted a change of scene a_er my dad passed away. Now I’m married with two kids and two salons! I’m quite a serious person, I’d say I am a people person but only in Golden Tarts because that’s my domain. Why is it so popular? I think because it’s so close to England people can come here and s2ll feel like they’ve got the safety net of home. And obviously it’s so glamorous. Why did you want to do the show? We’ve worked with reality stars, especially the TOWIE lot, over the last few years and we know what these type of shows can do for your profile. I say it’s for the salon but it’s for myself as well, I’m really enjoying it. It’s taken me out of my comfort zone and making me do things I would never have tried before. Marbella is known for being full of rich people, is there a divide between the wealthy and the workers? I do feel that divide working in the area we do. I m ean the wealth and the glam that walks through our door, if they treat you a certain way then you do feel the divide. I o_en feel like the poorest person in Puerto Banus. But you just have to take it for what it is. We have a successful salon so it’s good to see all types of people in their from the reality stars, to the hen par2es and the wealthy crowd. Some feel Marbella has been ruined by all the stag and hen parRes, what do you think? I disagree and not just because they are our market. They are big for the salon but we have the wealthy clients too. I just think they are brilliant for Marbella. They don’t go to the places where the rich locals go, they are never going to bump into each other. There’s enough places in Puerto Banus no mager what life you are from or how much money you have in your back pocket. Do the rich think they are be\er than the rest? Only if they want to because they have got money, but I think for most people it’s not about that. I think it’s old news. Those people who are saying that Marbella is different to how it was ten years ago, well of course it’s changed because they are ten years older and of course they are not going to want to go to Linekers or places like that. Why do you think Life On Marbs will be be\er than other reality shows? I think it’s because you got such divides of people, we’re not all from Essex or Chelsea and we’re not all Geordies. We have different backgrounds so you will see the divide between the wealthy and the workers. Is there anyone in the cast you hate? At the beginning I thought there were a couple who I wouldn’t get on with but as we have been filming I’ve realised they’re not too bad. Being in the salon we take everyone as they come. A lot of the cast come in as customers so we always have to have that respect with them. Is Golden Tarts the hub of all the gossip in Marbella? Whatever goes on inside our walls, aboard the Tartanic, stays on Tartanic. What we are told will never come back out of our mouths, but you never know who you are sirng next to. Things happen in the salon and once all the clients are gone we’re like, ‘Oh my god!’. Cast interviews Sarah Carter Q&A conRnued What sort of celebriRes do you have coming through your doors? We do a lot with the TOWIE lot, even Arg comes in! We also get people from Geordie Shore, Ex On The Beach, and then we get some random celebs like Rebecca Ferguson and Joe McElderry. We’ve even had Jimmy Bullard and Jermaine Jenas. I’m rubbish when it comes to the footballers and the WAGs, I have no idea who they are! We had some Saudi princes come to us last year for Halloween, we had to turn them into the Joker and Wolverine. What’s the most money someone has ever spend at Golden Tarts? This guy came to the salon just as we were closing up and he wanted his five year old daughter’s hair straightened. He gave us 1400 euros, it’s mental. Why do you give all your staff Tart nicknames? I didn’t have a salon back home so we googled it and one of the things we read was that it was important to build a community. So for us that evolved to Golden Tarts and giving everyone their own name. We’ve got names like Geek Tart, Ghego Tart, Maximum Tart and we give some of our best clients honorary Tart names, like Lydia Bright is our original Essex Tart! Why should people what Life On Marbs? It’s going to be a bit of escapism and also to see all the different kinds of people who live here. You’ll see that anyone can make it here. I used to work in a warehouse in Dagenham and now I’ve got the best and most glamorous salon in Puerto Banus. And when they’ve watched it they can come over and see us and have the Golden Tarts experience. The Boys Cast interviews Jon Stre\on Knowles Age: 34 OccupaRon: Entrepreneur Self made millionaire Jon is a bachelor with a capital B What are you doing in Marbella? I’ve lived here for about a year, I do half the year here and the other half in Dubai. I re2red two years ago a_er I sold off a big sales company back in the UK. I love going out a lot so this is the perfect place for me. I’ve got two beau2ful ligle girls who are six and nine, I worship them and they spend all the school holidays with me either here or in Dubai. What do you like about Marbella? There’s a really classy side to it. There are some amazing restaurants. One of the main reasons I moved here was because the food is so good. There are nice cocktail bars too. Are you a millionaire? Yes, I’m a millionaire! There's no chance of my money running out. I have businesses in the UK, I own a country club and run some proper2es which provide income, so I am not spending my capital. If you’re so rich why are you doing this show? for it. I have got way more to lose than I have to gain, but I Bally, who is also on the show, put my name forward am pleased I have done it because it’s been a lot of fun. What’s the most you’ve spent on a night out? I’ve had some pregy crazy nights out. I’ve done a couple of nights at Ocean Club which were £50,000 a pop. My biggest was at a club in Cannes, I did £85,000. I woke up the next morning and I did think, ‘That was a really bad idea!’. That is all just on booze, champagne and vodka. It’s really extravagant. A big night out for me is a £15,000 to £20,000 night, but a common night is probably only about £4,000. What’s the most you have spent in a week? It was about £450,000. I bought two Ferraris. Why did I buy two? Because I wanted two different models. How many cars do you have now? I only have one here, a Range Rover, I sold all my cars when I le_ the UK. But I think I'm going to buy myself a new car soon, I want the new Mercedes that has just come out. It's a nice bit of kit. What's an average day like for you? I'm lucky because I have a very privileged lifestyle. My day consists of me waking up whenever my body tells me to, I never get up to an alarm, which is nice. I'll go for brunch or lunch depending on what 2me I have got up, I'll meet friends at the beach, lay about for a bit or have friends over to my villa. There's lots of ea2ng and drinking, I dine out every night, I never eat at home. Then normally I go to a club for some drinks, a bit of partying and to fish for women. Do you think your lifestyle is normal? It's normal to me. I'm not flash like some people, when I go out for lunch it's just me sirng round with my mates talking about normal stuff. We're not preten2ous idiots sat around in snobby places. The places we hang out are down to earth. Do you bank roll your mates? I do a ligle bit. I'm out having fun and the problem is that I like to drink and I lose my common sense when you've too many vodka and oranges. Cast interviews Jon Stre\on Knowles Q&A conRnued Is everyone trying to out do each other? It used to be like that out here but I don't think it is anymore. When I was younger and in a club and I saw someone bring out a bogle of something then I would immediately buy something bigger and beger. That was me being a kn**, now I'm a bit more mature and long in the tooth to be playing those games. Do you think people will be jealous of you when they watch the show? Yes there will be jealous people, I have had jealousy before but there shouldn't be. They should be more jealous of people like Adam and Jeff who are in the show because they come from money, they don't have to do a days work in their en2re life. They have a great lifestyle and they are young, good looking boys, I'm old! Are you looking for love? I enjoy female company! I’ve been single for about three months so I have been gerng involved a bit, shall we say. I’m always looking for love. I’m looking for the one. The one is the person who I have the most mind-‐blowing chemistry with, someone I can’t even sit in the same room with without ripping her clothes off. Does she need to be wealthy? No, not at all. I always joke to my mum about finding a woman and being a kept man, but I have never dated a woman with money. They are all very working class girls. One of my problems is that I fish from the same pond, I need to fish from a different pond because I always end up with the same type of girl. The girls I end up with are always the ones who are out looking for someone like me. Do you feel used for your money? Occasionally, yes. The types of girls I end up with I swear have been training their whole lives to do the right thing at the right 2me to get a man like me. Do you want to be famous off the back of this show? When you go out as much as we do you almost become a ligle celebrity anyway. I think this show will magnify that and more people will know who I am. I will find it weird but I’m the type of person that if I’m driving my Ferrari down the road and people are looking, I’m like, ‘What the hell are they looking at?’. They are looking at the car, not me, but I don’t like it. Do you think people will compare you to the Made In Chelsea gang? I don't know what their wealth situa2on is like, I'm assuming they are pregy wealthy but it's family money, they've gone to the best schools in the country and have been brought up well. But they are spending their family money, it's nothing like us. I’m real, I made my money and now I’m enjoying it. Why do you think people should watch the show? We go to really cool places that people watching in the UK may not have been to before. It's glamorous, you'll see nice cars and nice homes. There's lots of pregy people. Cast interviews Adam Graham Age: 25 OccupaRon: Property management, waiter and ‘fixer’ for Ocean Club Very well known in Marbella, Adam has recently split from Lola Why did you come to Marbella? We started coming here about ten years ago. We used to go on holiday to the south of France but our mum wanted a change so we came here. You get more sun here and we can speak Portuguese, which is similar to Spanish. We rented a house for the first year but then mum really liked it so we bought a house. We use it as a second home. How would you describe yourself? I’m 25, I live in Marbella. I was in Miami beforehand with my ex missus, Lola, who is also on the show. I speak Spanish, Portuguese, French. I’ve lived all around the world from Brazil to Malaysia but I was educated back in Britain, at Harrow. How would you describe your relaRonship with Jeff? We physically fight each other. We’ll go on a night out and he’ll say something that will annoy me so I’ll slap him in front of everyone. Who would win in a fight? Me! Are you from a wealthy background? We are very fortunate for what we have, we are very privileged. We can’t complain about anything. We were well educated and have a good life. I work hard for my money, I have never asked much from my parents. They have given me what they can, they have obviously looked a_er us. What does your father do? My father is re2red and my mum has been a housewife all her life. But you are pufng yourself out there to be judged by being on this show… A lot of people will have their five minutes of fame and say what they want to say, but we are who we are. We have no regrets in life and do what we can. We enjoy ourselves. I work extremely hard for five months of the year so I can have fun for the other seven. If my brother is with me then fine, if he has something else on, that’s fine too. We’ll always look out for each other. You say you work hard for five months of the year, what’s your job? I look a_er the VIPs at Ocean Club. I look a_er a lot of clients. They are people I have got to know over the years. What do you have to arrange for them? A client coming over may call me and say he wants to come to Marbella and he wants me to sort everything out from flights, to cars and villas. It’s networking for the future, building my ligle black book up and then maybe ten years in the future these people may help me out with things. It’s a risk you’ve got to take. The craziest thing is when someone was partying here then they wanted a private jet on the tarmac for the morning to take them to Ibiza. Then they wanted me to find them a villa in Ibiza and book them into the best clubs. If you have the contacts then it’s fine. I do, so it’s not that hec2c. Is Marbella really dripping with money? There’s two sides to Marbella, you’ve got the locals who do what they do and if it wasn’t for them Marbella wouldn’t be what it is. Then you’ve got the weekend playboys who come and the girls who follow them. They work extremely hard, they have a lot of money and enjoy what they do. Cast interviews Adam Graham Q&A conRnued Your ex Lola is in the show, is there going to be a lot of love drama? We were together for about two and half years and then we broke up in February. You’ll have to watch the show to see what happens. If you want to see some heat, tension and a bit of love then you beger watch the show. What kind of woman are you looking for now? I want someone classy, she has to respect herself and have a good pedicure and manicure. Do girls come ager you for your money? Some2mes you know what they are a_er, they are there for one reason and one reason only. They want drinks, so when they see a bogle come out and taken to a table, instead of going to the bar and buying their own drinks, they will happily stand by the table, dance and give you the eye a bit trying to catch your agen2on so they can slip in and get a drink. When we go out with the guys we just like to hang out with them and we’re not really looking for women. Some2mes we’ll invite our girl mates to come down, Lola’s been out with us a few 2mes. Have you and Jeff ever competed for the same woman? I was seeing this girl for about a month and then Jeff turned up and ended up da2ng the girl for six months! Do you know any of the Made In Chelsea gang? I went to school with some of them, Hugo and I know Jamie. I haven’t spoken to them for advice about doing this show. You don’t want to do yourself in by asking for help. Have more respect. Cast interviews Jeff Graham Age: 23 OccupaRon: Businessman, Party Boy Younger brother to Adam, Jeff has been called the ul2mate playboy How would you describe yourself? I’m Adam’s younger brother and one of three siblings, so I have middle child syndrome. I would describe myself as loyal, intelligent and funny. Apparently you were a naughty kid at school and kids were told to stay away from you? I would say I was influen2al rather than naughty. I was misunderstood as a young kid. I wasn’t in trouble a lot, I was accused of things I didn’t do. Silly things that kids do in boarding school like kicking a ball through a window, staying up late and locking people in their rooms, just normal pranks. Times have changed now, I’ve grown up. How would you describe your relaRonship with Adam? We are best friends but we have a very love/hate rela2onship. When we are good, we are good, but when we are bad, we are very bad. Are your family loaded? Whether my family are millionaires doesn’t have a nything to do with me or Adam. We were brought up well and take nothing for granted. We’ve had the best educa2on you could ask for and that’s it. I don’t like talking about money, I never have, we’ve been brought up not talking about money, we keep ourselves to ourselves. What do you do for a job? I just do what I do. I’m having the summer off and relaxing. Come September I’ll be working. I have a few op2ons but I need to decide what I want to do. I don’t want to work for somebody, I want to build something for myself. Why have you ended up in Marbella? We came here about ten years ago for a holiday. Our mum wanted a place here and because we can speak Portuguese, which is similar to Spanish, she knew we could make friends a lot easier here. What’s the most you’ve spent on a night out? We’ve been brought up not to talk about money. I think money talks and wealth whispers. I don’t care about money. We used to have a farm in Brazil and there were people who worked there that would live in the slums and might make £50 a month, but I would treat them the same as someone who may have £100million in the bank. For me it doesn’t mager, that’s why I don’t like talking about it. To talk about it is vulgar. I have no interest in talking about money. Are you single? I’m single, ready to mingle and up for some fun. I’m not looking for a rela2onship. I look for agrac2ve girls, eights and above. Some2mes I might slip down to a seven or a six, that’s alcohol. Her personality has to be good, she has to be classy. There’s nothing worse than going out and at the end of the night she takes her shoes off to walk home. That’s disgus2ng. Or kigen heels, they are so wrong. Nice shoes, well kept and classy. It’s not too much to ask. Cast interviews Jeff Graham Q&A conRnued Are you wary of the women who want to use you and Adam for your money? There are girls who look for tables with bogles of champagne or vodka on it. You turn around from your table and you see like 20 girls all stood around. You’ll start speaking to one and they will ask if they can bring their friend over and then another 15 girls turn up. Some2mes it’s cool. If you are a bunch of guys and you want some girls around you to have fun and party, it’s cool. Who’s be\er with the ladies, you or Adam? Me! I don’t use chat up lines, I think they are cheesy and lazy. If I’m interested it’s about being funny and charming, not cheesy. How does this show compare to other reality shows? This is our life, what you see is what you get. You’ll see us on yachts and jet skiing, that’s what we do here. Fast cars and going out, there’s no catch to it. Cast interviews Bally Singh Age: 39 OccupaRon: Owner of The Rich List Group Recently voted most interes2ng Indian Man by website Urban Asian How would you describe yourself? I live in Marbella, I live in Dubai, I live in my suitcase! I own a company that looks a_er the elite around the world, celebri2es and other high net individuals. I like to party! Wherever there’s a party, I’ll be there. You arrange nights out and holidays for celebriRes including Eminem, Pharrell and 50 Cent, what's the weirdest thing you have been asked to arrange? I think the most extravagant things are when I have to organise private islands somewhere in the world or in Dubai I'll hire a fleet of yachts to party. It's not crazy, it's what they can spend and how they spend it. For example some will have Dom Perignon Rose and others will have Cristal. Is everyone trying to out do each other? Of course, that's life. But it doesn't happen in my circle because we are all mates and like the same stuff. You’re running a successful and lucraRve business, why do the show? I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it to start with because I wasn’t sure they would want a character like me in the show. Me, Jon and a few other people wanted to portray Marbella the way it really is. It’s got that high class lifestyle, it’s got a nice crowd. It’s not all about these chavvy, rough clubs that you see so much of these days, that’s what people are star2ng to think it’s all about. Are you told what to do on the show? I’ve really enjoyed working with the crew, they just film what happens naturally, so I’m really happy I have done the show. What’s the most you’ve spent on a night out? It really depends who is out and what kind of night it is. The last serious night was with all the team and it was about £30,000. How many cars do you have? I've got a Ferrari 458 and a Rolls-‐Royce Ghost, I've got a fleet. I've also got a yacht that I keep in Dubai. What's an average day like for you? A lot of relaxing, some shopping, I go to the beach club. It's all fairly normal stuff but it depends what you call average. One day I'm in Marbella, the next Ibiza or Vegas. Some2mes I don't stop travelling, I'll party somewhere and the next day I'll fly somewhere else on a private jet. Do you think your lifestyle is normal? The places I hang out with my mates at are normal to me but they won't be normal to most people. Spending £2,000 is not normal, most people won't go into the sort of clubs I do because they couldn't afford them. If I'm going on a big night out then I'll pay for my mates, but if there are hangers on who are going to act like it's their table, then that's not cool. Cast interviews Bally Singh Q&A conRnued Do you have any celebrity mates? I’m mates with loads of people from Rio Ferdinand and Danny Welbeck, to Pharrell and Jus2n Timberlake. I don’t get star struck. I know a lot of the Arab royalty as well. It’s normal for me. Are you looking for love? I have an eight bedroom penthouse in the port, it’s got it’s own ligle nightclub, a roo_op terrace and five jacuzzis in it. I can have my pick. But I am more interested in business right now than women. Do you want to be famous off the back of this show? I don’t want to be a celebrity. Cast interviews Josh Ortega Age: 21 OccupaRon: PR for Ul2mate Promo2ons Marbella Gi_ of the gab, cheeky and outgoing, Josh is a ‘million miles an hour’ How did you end up in Marbella? I was born in London but my family moved here when I was three. We were poor and I had to go to a Spanish school because it was free. I went to uni in England but then I came back here to do PR for the clubs and I now look a_er the News Cafe here. Are you wealthy? I work long hours and I work very hard for my money. I am a normal guy. I earn the money I have. Do you consider yourself the Mark Wright of Marbella because he started his career in promoRons? This is what I mean, he’s a wicked geezer. I’d take my hat of to the geezer. There are a lot of good people in Marbella but I reckon I am one of the best. I think I am good at what I do. I talk to women for living -‐ it's brilliant. If you are single then you have to come to Marbella, come to the port of abuse! So how many notches are on you bedpost? I gentleman never reveals his secrets but probably about 200! I am very loud and out-‐going but deep down I am a gentleman. Why is Marbella be\er than anywhere else? It's mul2-‐cultural and it's a hot spot for money. Are you single? Yes I am, but I'm interested in a girl on the show, Jordan. We have a good connec2on, we've got good banter. We actually met a couple of years ago, so we've had a few dates this summer. What are the women like in Marbella? They are crazy! They all have some sort of loose screw in them. It's part of the fun. Do you want to become a celebrity off the back of this show? It opens a lot of doors and I think it’s a new dream for me. I don’t know if it’s going to put me on a plalorm to be on shows like Celebrity Juice or one of the dancing shows or the Jump. I could do EastEnders, I could be Danny Dyer’s long lost son, I think that would be wicked. Me and Danny could be best pals. How do you think the lifestyle of people over here will compare to the likes of the Made In Chelsea gang? I think they are going to feel a bit threatened! I’m aiming to bigger than Made In Chelsea, aim high, why not? You have to dream big and if those dreams come true, then it’ll be amazing! Do you hope this show will help you bag more women? I don’t consider myself bad with the ladies anyway. I’m a good looking geezer and I’ve got the gi_ of the gab, so why not? I wouldn’t mind a couple of hundred birds screaming my name, that would be good! Cast interviews Mark Forster Age: 33 OccupaRon: Owns vehicle rental business Entrepreneur Mark is o_en with his ‘wing-‐man’ pooch Juan Carlos III How did you end up in Marbella? I grew up in Munich, but my brother worked in Spain. I visited him and became hooked on Spain. So I went home took all the money from the savings account my parents set up for me and came to Marbella. I own a rental car company for specially converted conver2bles. I've done it for eight years, I work with hotels, they call me up and I bring the cars. I used my savings to buy five cars and I now have 35, that's my business. What's so good about Marbella? I think it's about the money. There is so much money here and people who don't have money spend a lot anyway in order to look wealthy. It's good for business, people are easy spenders. Are you single? Yeah, I've just come out of a two year rela2onship. Now I am single and I want to try and keep that way. There's tempta2ons in the show, the girl I fancy, Danni, is also my best friend so that doesn't work very well. So will fans see a lot of love drama? Well wherever there are girls there is going to be a lot of love drama! It comes naturally to girls. I always end up with the crazy girls. Maybe I have a different game to the other guys, maybe I'm a ligle more mysterious. But a_er I've hooked the girl they always go crazy. What's the craziest thing a girl has done? How long have you got? There's a lot of crazy stuff. Women in Marbella are crazy. Do you think TV fans are going to love the show? Marbella is a myth, everyone wants to come here. Some can and some can’t. Those who can’t get here want to know what’s going on, so I imagine a lot of people will watch it. It’s real, it’s not some place in the Caribbean that not many people can experience. This lifestyle is touchable. Do you hope this show will help you a\ract more women? I’m not going to lie, I hope it means I don’t even have to talk any more. I can just say, ‘Villa 33, thank you, see you there!’. I had to give an autograph the other day, I kid you not. A couple of kids came up to me a_er we had finished filming. They wanted a selfie too, it was so weird. Cast interviews Phil Savage Age: 34 OccupaRon: Club owner and runs Ul2mate Promo2ons Part of the original crew that devised the champagne spray par2es How did you end up in Marbella? I’m an electrician by trade, I used to work for Unilever. But I came over here when I was 26 years old and worked for Sin2llate. While I was there I progressed a ligle bit and became PR manager, so I got a few of my own nights. Now I run a few different venues including Newscafe, Plaza Beach Club and co-‐ own Aqwa Mist. I also own my own promo2ons company. How would you describe yourself? I try to be friendly and polite. I do right by people. I’m not a ladies man, I didn’t do bad with the ladies when I was younger but I am happily married now. What does your wife do? My wife, Sara, is a dancer, she’s fantas2c. She dances in one of my clubs, Aqwa Mist, so I get to see her all the 2me, which is nice. I see her dressed in some of the raunchiest oulits ever. She doesn’t have to dance if she doesn’t want to, but she loves it. She loves looking glamorous. She gets male agen2on, it’s part of the job, but I am cool about it unless someone oversteps the line. Some2mes there’s a few guys who I have to put my hand on their shoulder and I’m like, ‘Bro, look at my arms!’. She can hold her own though. Does she get jealous because you must get women throwing themselves at you? I get my fair share of agen2on, there’s a ligle bit of flir2ng going on but I will only take it to a certain point because I really am happily married. Why is Marbella be\er than Britain? I think it’s got a bit of everything. You can go as crazy as you like or you can have a nice relaxed meal in some of the best serngs you’ll find in the world. It has a lovely beach culture and of course the sun shines over 300 days a year. Is everyone rich here? There is a lot of wealth here, there are a lot of millionaires. When you get off the beaten track you’ll see there is a lot of old money and new money. But with the tourists it’s all show. They can be normal guys who have saved up £2,000 to come here for a weekend and blow it. They look and feel like footballers. That’s what Marbella is about, it’s about coming over here and looking the part, playing the part and dressing the part so you can meet all the pregy girls. Everyone ups their game when they come to Marbella. What sort of celebriRes come to your clubs? We get all sorts. A lot of Premiership footballers come over here like Ashley Cole and Drogba, who were here the other week. We have boxers like Ricky Hagon here and of course the reality stars who have made Marbella very commercial. We also bring over big ar2sts like Pharrell, Chris Brown and 50 Cent. It’s so varied. These big celebri2es are fantas2c, they are friendly guys which is refreshing to see. What can fans expect when they tune in to Life On Marbs? Quite a bit of banter, especially between the guys. We all have a right laugh when we are out or even when we just go round to Jon’s house and chill out. I will probably come across as the boring one! I’m working most of the 2me so I don’t go out much. Do you think you’ll be famous like the TOWIE lot ager being on this show? I’m not in it as much as some of the other guys because I’m always working so I don’t think it will make much difference. And I live out here in Marbella so I won’t have any clue what’s going on back home. I hope it’s not too much of an issue because I like going back home and being myself. Cast interviews Joss Mooney Age: 27 OccupaRon: Fitness trainer / model / PR A self-‐confessed player, forever single and originally from Manchester Why have you made the move to Marbella? I came out before and did three seasons working for Phil in his clubs. I went home for a bit but now I am back and giving it a good go here working PR for nightclubs. Phil’s like my big brother. How would you describe yourself? I think I am a friendly guy. I’m fitness orientated unless I am distracted by women! I am a ladies man! I think every guy is un2l you meet the one, I haven’t yet, I’m s2ll rustling through the cabinets. Why is Marbella so good? It’s wicked here, everyone is so friendly here. When you go to Ibiza it’s a totally different vibe and type of crowd. People make the most of themselves here, when they come here they have saved all year and you do get the best of what the UK has to offer. Is it true that everyone is loaded here? model or celebrity from back in the UK. The clientele is Yeah! You’re almost guaranteed to meet a footballer, becoming more and more interna2onal though, which is great to see. Is there a divide between the wealthy and the workers? No, there’s places for everybody. You can go down the back line which is where all the hen dos go, or you can go to nice places like all of Phil’s clubs where you get guys spending a lot of money. I don’t think there’s a huge separa2on between the two, everyone gets along. You do see a difference between the crowds but that’s down to the consump2on of alcohol. Do you get yourself in trouble when it comes to women? I get myself in s2cky situa2ons because I usually start love triangles. I can never decide on one person, so I start talking to someone and then I get too deep in with someone else. I don’t want to sack anyone off so I just end up gerng myself in trouble. I’m trying to keep my op2ons open but I just end up gerng stuck! What’s happening with you and Vicky Pafson these days? There’s nothing going on between us at the minute, but I gave her the best two minutes of her life!! It was the laziest thing I have ever done! There’s no romance between us, I don’t think she’s capable of it. We were seeing each other for a while but it was just about the sex really. She’s wild, she’s crackers. I get along with her really well but she knows she’s nuts. I don’t think she’s girlfriend material. Has she given you any advice about this show? She’s not been that helpful to be honest. I suppose looking at her it’s a case of what not to do it, she could write a handbook. Are you looking for sun, sea and sex this summer rather than a girlfriend? I’m always looking for a girlfriend! I’m keeping my op2ons open. If I see someone I really like and get along with then I’ll pursue it. But I usually mess it up! Cast interviews Joss Mooney Q&A conRnued How does this show compare to other reality shows around? Marbella brings together a real mix of different people and we are all on the one show. There’s something for everyone. You were on Ex On The Beach, will we see a different side to you on Life On Marbs? I got judged so much a_er Ex On The Beach. I wasn’t myself, it was a totally different environment, everyone was trying to be Jack the lad, the girls were a nightmare. It was one massive headache. Ex On The Beach didn’t do me any favours, it was just rela2onship based whereas with this you’ll see me working and out with my mates as well, so you’ll see the real me. Do you want to be famous off the back of this show? Yeah of course I do. It’s promo2on for whatever I want to do next whether it’s opening a clothing range or doing my training. Will it help boost your luck with the ladies? I’m sure it will. I know it will because Ex On The Beach did! Some of the personal experiences I have done have been mental. I met this girl in Ireland and she was shaking so much when she met me, I didn’t understand why, I’m not talented, she just saw me on TV. I was trying to calm her down but it ended with me taking her home, which is so inappropriate. I didn’t intend on taking her back, it just happened! Have you had any celebrity conquests? I have but I’m not allowed to say. She shouldn’t have done it, she was in a rela2onship. It was recently. I did feel bad, but she said it was my fault that she was in a rela2onship. I was seeing her before he was, but because I never know what I want we split up. Would it cause massive ruc2ons if it came out? Yes, it would cause a divorce. A_erwards I felt really bad, it’s not good, but it takes two to tango. Believe it or not, I do have morals! Cast interviews Maxwell Jameson Age: 18 OccupaRon: Head booker at Target Models Marbella and works at Golden Tarts Strong-‐minded make-‐up ar2st Max, spends his winters in Dubai How long have you been in Marbella? I came to Marbella when I was about four so I’ve been here for 14 years now. I work in Golden Tarts. I’m a unique person, I have my own style, and I’m a bit of a bitch. That’s something I get told quite o_en. Why do you like wearing make-‐up? One of my main features is my make-‐up. It’s not about being a woman or being a man, it’s about being myself. I feel more comfortable wearing make-‐up and it’s how I want to look. I think I am a big fish in a ligle pond in Marbella. There’s no one I have met or seen in Marbella that represents my look or personality. It hasn’t always been easy but it is now, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. It’s an elite and glamorous place and I feel very accepted here. I feel safe as well, I have a lot of people who would protect me if I have a drama. What makes Marbella so good? I think you’ve got people from all walks of life. You get people my age hanging around with people who are older, and that’s normal. It’s a fun, busy place. There’s always something to do here. Is Marbella dripping with money? It’s who you know here, not what you have. I have had a wealthy upbringing but I s2ll pay for myself. Money is a huge thing here and there is a lot of wealth. You do have back street Banus where you have all the people who go to the crappy places but if you portray yourself the right way you can get away without paying a bill, especially if you know the right person. I can’t remember the last 2me I paid for a drink here. So are your family wealthy? Yeah, my dad is a car dealer and is involved in Formula One. My mum is a housewife. I s2ll live with my family, I’m only 18, but I have a job. It means I can treat myself and keep up the image. I love people flashing their cash. Do you want a wealthy boyfriend? That would be nice! I’ve had rela2onships in the past, mostly with straight men. I’ve never gone out with anyone who’s gay, they have all been straight and curious. I used to go out with an Arab man, I’m interested in the Arab culture. That’s contradictory but believe it or not I have lived in Dubai and that’s where I had all my rela2onships. They are strict out there and I did tone myself down, I think a lot of the Arabs have to be secre2ve because of their culture. What is Golden Tarts? It’s a social scene rather than a salon. It’s where you feel relaxed, we’re all so open, we dance and have a laugh. We are also mobile so people hire us to come to them on their yachts and stuff like that. We do a lot of fashion shows and the magazines over here. Do you have many celebriRes through your doors? We have loads of people. We get the WAGs, we’ve had Rebecca Ferguson and of course all the TOWIE lot. I don’t know who half of them are, especially the WAGs! Cast interviews Maxwell Jameson Q&A conRnued Are you the hub for all the gossip in Marbella? Totally! Everyone loves to bitch to their manicurist or hairdresser so we hear it all from the horse’s mouth. We’re always up to date with the gossip. I once found out about this big, massive affair. It was terrible! Do the Tarts ever fall out? Yeah! It’s not falling out, I’m just sensi2ve! We are around each other 24 hours a day so we are bound to have some fallings out. It’s not always easy, we go to work together, we go out together and some live together. So it can get a bit touchy. Is there anyone in the show you don’t like? At the beginning I wasn’t keen on Felicity because I’m friends with Natalie and they had a big falling out. I s2ll find her frustra2ng and annoying. Why should people watch Life On Marbs? I think people are obsessed with Marbs anyway, so they will want to see the people who live here and live the lifestyle. It’s not always easy, but it’s always fabulous.
