Reverse "Y" Adapter
The Reverse "Y" Adapter (167RYN) has two male
plugs with special power isolation circuitry for
added safety. When one plug is connected to a
receptacle, the circuitry isolates the second plug.
The reverse "Y" provides 50A 125/250V power
when only 30A 125V receptacles are available.

Power is provided in both circuits to the 4-wire
inlet, but the dockside receptacles limit the
current in each circuit to 30 amps. The two 30A
125V receptacles must be supplied from a single
power source providing from 208V to 250V
between them for proper opertation.

MARINCO’s exclusive Easy Lock System
has been designed to make hook-up quick
and easy. Just connect the cordset (with
an Easy Lock locking ring installed) to the
inlet and turn the locking ring less than a
quarter turn. The tabs on the locking ring
lock into the inlet for a positive watertight
hook-up while eliminating any chance
of cross threading. The locking ring features lock locators positioned at 180º to
improve finger grip during attachment.
Easy Lock inlets have a threaded boss that
will accept threaded cordsets as well. The
Easy Lock system is a standard feature
on some MARINCO 30 Amp and 50 Amp
inlets and cordsets.

the Soft Touch cap design. The Soft

These inlets are solid cast marine grade
316 stainless steel and include a heavy
duty cap strap for strength and durability.

Touch cap design. The Soft Touch hinge is

Easy Lock feature on the boss for easy cordset
hook-up. An Easy Lock ring is included with the
inlet to adapt to any cordset.

Marinco’s new T50 Isolation
& Boosting Transformer is the
boater’s best defense against
unsafe shore power connections
and equipment damage due

isolation transformer, the T50

The MARINCO Shore Power Adapters give you more power hook-up flexibility and resolve a variety of
dockside power center / boat side inlet power incompatibility problems.
Types of Adapters
STRAIGHT ADAPTERS are high-quality,
one-piece adapters similar in usage to
Pigtail Adapters. However, they do not
have sealing collars and are not recommended for use in wet locations. Use
only in an enclosed, dry location, such as
powering your boat from a 15A power
receptacle inside your house.
“Y” ADAPTERS let you split one dockside
receptacle between two boat inlets of
similar or dissimilar power configurations. “Y” Adapters are fully molded and
equipped with Marinco’s unique sealing
collar and covers (where indicated) for use
in wet locations.
PIGTAIL ADAPTERS . These adapters are fully
molded and equipped with Marinco’s unique
sealing collar (where indicated) and covers for use in
wet locations.
The REVERSE “Y” ADAPTER (Part No.
167RYN) provides your boat with 50A
125/250V power from two 30A 125V locking dockside receptacles. See page 27 for

The Reverse “Y” Adapter (167RYN) has two male plugs with special power isolation circuitry for added safety. When one plug is connected to a
receptacle, the circuitry isolates the second plug. The reverse “Y” provides 50A 125/250V power when only 30A 125V receptacles are available.
Note: Reverse “Y” will NOT work with 50A, 125V, 3-wire inlets. Power is provided in both circuits to the 4-wire inlet, but the dockside receptacles
limit the current in each circuit to 30A. The two 30A 125V receptacles must be supplied from a single power source providing from 208V to 250V
between them for proper operation.

Dockside Power Center
Make docking convenient and safe with our line of MARINCO Dockside Power Centers. All Power Centers utilize corrosion-resistant, grounding and locking type receptacles with
individual circuit breaker protection enclosed in a single,
easy to install enclosure. Available in configurations for 20,
30, and 50 amp, single and dual receptacle combinations, to
cover the most common marina electrical needs.
Except for Retrofit Kits, all Power Centers and options are
shipped to you factory wired and assembled to reduce
installation time.
Rugged Durability:
• All Power Centers utilize virgin resins, for a higher
degree of ultra-violet (UV) protection.
• Installed power receptacles are attached to an internal
stainless steel mounting bracket to withstand the constant attaching and detaching of the shore power cord.
• All internal metal components are of a stainless grade
which aides in the prevention of corrosion.
User Safety:
• Dead front construction prevents accidental contact
with live parts.
• All Power Centers are UL listed in their entirety. This
ensures that you have the safest product available.
• Only the highest quality components and materials are
used in the manufacturing of the Marinco Dockside
Power Centers.

The MARINCO On-Board Charger Inlet makes
battery charging through an on-board battery
charger safer and more convenient. The inlet
mounts on the boat’s exterior and is hard
wired directly to the charger. Just open the
flip lid cover and plug an extension cord into
the inlet to bring charging power to the boat’s
batteries. All of the hatches remain closed and
locked throughout the charging cycle, adding
