WHEN: Tuesday, November 11, 2014 6:00 p.m. WHERE: At the Flag Mural on the Marquis Theatre building in downtown Northville (in the parking lot behind the theatre) Everyone is invited and encouraged to join in the dedication! Everyone has been watching, waiting and supporting the restoration of the flag mural originally commissioned by the late “Miss” Inge Zayti. The mural itself was and remains, the work of artist, Jeff Von Buskirk. The fundraising effort was truly a grass roots campaign. At Preservation Dental, donations are still being accepted to help offset the cost of the restoration of this beloved mural. Donations have ranged from $5 to $500 and to date more than $15,000 has been raised – in memory of loved ones, through raffles, dinners, t-shirts, newspaper articles, wordof-mouth, and Facebook. The project has been an inspiration. We must celebrate and take pride in knowing that the community of Northville, our neighbors, families and friends embrace a patriotic spirit and have true respect for our national symbol of freedom. Main Street (248) 347-6718 www.thebeeskneespottery.com Holiday Workshops At The Bee’s Knees Every Thursday Starting November 6 through December 18th Create gifts with lasting memories. Let the helpful staff at The Bees Knees know your budget, and they can help you design custom gifts. Choose between several different activities: ~ Pottery Painting ~ Canvas Painting ~ Glass Fusing ~ Jewelry Making ~ Mosaics Here at Merci-N Handmade Soap Art, the staff is proud to make natural handmade soaps without artificial and chemical additives such as preservatives, surface-active and hardening agents, unnatural perfume, coloring, etc. Merci-N uses a slow and traditional method of soap making, called “Cold Process”. It requires a lower temperature, thus taking more time to best preserve the oil. This pure “saponification” begins with adding various natural ingredients and botanical components such as essential oils and lye (sodium hydroxide mixed with liquid) to complete the glycerin process. The soap base contains the highest quality and grade of natural ingredients to guarantee the best condition for skin in general. Also, the MP (Melt & Pour) technique help to make the soap extremely gentle with the lush foam. About 4-12 weeks later, the very natural and soft hand-made soap is ready to use. MAJOR BENEFITS OF NATURAL INGREDIENTS USED IN HANDMADE SOAPS Using natural soaps will minimize skin irritation and you will experience the full effects of the contained ingredients as if you are wearing a “natural beauty mask” on your skin. Natural soap components are fully dissolvable within 24 hours used with water. Ultimately, using natural soaps will help decrease water pollution and protect planet earth. All ages are welcome. Please make your reservations at TheBeesKneesPottery.com or call 248-347-6718. 10 IT’S TIME TO SHOP WITH US!
