OVERVIEW
• An inclusive post-secondary program designed to meet the
individual needs of RSB students aged 18-21 with developmental,
intellectual or multiple disabilities
• Includes core academics, job & mobility training, college classes
and activities, leisure and recreational activities, links with
community supports, transition planning
• Potential WOTP certification or attestation of completion of the
Challenges program from the Ministry of Education
GOOD CANDIDATES
• 17-21 years old
• Current student at one of RSB’s secondary schools
• Motivated to be with same-age peers & expand social circle
• Wants to learn from a variety of experiences (college and work)
• Appropriate social skills (no disruptive behaviours)
• Able to function autonomously at college & at work
• Wants to become more independent & make decisions
