Don’t let this hold you back from enjoying your favorite activities. Check out these 5 tips to reduce chronic pain. 1) Exercise! This can be a double edge sword if you are in pain, but keep in mind there are a lot of options. If you don’t exercise you may lose muscle strength and joint mobility. Even mild exercise is beneficial, but check with your doctor before starting a new routine. 2) Practice deep breathing meditation or a combination of both. 3) Understand your medications and get educated on treatment options. 4) Do your body a favor and eat a healthy diet, also avoid alcohol and smoking. 5) Know your limits, whether physical activity or attending social events, it is important to set limits to keep you feeling well.
