Welcome to the start of a new year. And what a great start we are having at Zest Air. True to our
plans for expansion, we have just taken delivery of our 9th Airbus which will enable us to further
improve and extend our services around the Asia region.
We are pleased to announce that in January of next year we will be launching our inaugural flight
to Jinjiang in China and our much increased flight frequencies to and from Korea to Kalibo is taking
many more visitors to Boracay. You can read about one of China’s most impressive wonders in this
month’s article by regular contributor Wang Yuanchang.
As we have grown we now feel the time is right to partner with more celebrity endorsers to
join Ms. Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica, we have added more stars to our roster. Adding to our
glittering 2012 marketing campaign “Airline of the Stars!” are big names in the showbiz industry
such as Angelica Panganiban, Alex Gonzaga, Boys’ Night Out Celebrity DJs Sam YG and Tony Toni
among others to reinforce our vision of making each of our passenger truly feel like a star!
In this issue you will also find some additional information on the renaissance of the Blues
music scene in Manila in our article “The Blues Just Won’t Go Away” by Dennis Gargantiel and an
inspiring account of Excel Dyquiangco’s recent “Adventure Challenge” on Corregidor Island.
Just before Christmas, the southern part of our country was hit by the tragic typhoon Sendong.
Zest Air was one with the nation in expressing its sympathy for the loss of lives and damage to
property brought about by the said typhoon. We have shipped donations and relief goods from
legitimate groups and organizations for free to help to our brothers and sisters who are in dire need
of assistance.
