The region is world renowned for being a geothermal hotbed, treating visitors to a range of unique attractions such as geysers, hot springs and boiling mud pools. Ramada Rotorua offers a great range of facilities to ensure guests are as comfortable as possible including a private boat ramp, berth and boat parking, trout fishing, outdoor pool and spa, BBQ areas, gym and tennis court. WorldMark Reservations: Monday to Friday from 7am to 8pm AEST and Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am to 4.30pm AEST. Check-in Information: Check-in time is from 4pm at Reception. Check-out time is 12 noon. Reception is open seven days a week between the following hours: Monday to Sunday 8am to 6pm. If arriving after hours, please call the resort to arrange key pick up. Reception hours are subject to change due to public holidays and seasonal variances. Where a credit card is not available, a $100 cash bond will be required. Any balance unused will be refunded/ credited on departure. Resort Amenities: The resort features an onsite café, outdoor swimming pool and spa, gym, tennis courts, barbecue facilities with alfresco dining, boat ramp, boat parking, private berth and trout fishing. To Get You Started: For your added convenience you’ll find a starter supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk, washing and laundry detergent in your room. Weather: The Rotorua region has a relatively high altitude and enjoys a warm, temperate climate. The warmest months are January, February and March when the average temperature can reach 27°C. The coolest months are June, July and August, when the minimum temperature ranges between 9°C and 13°C. Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted at any Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific or WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham property except in the case of hearing, mobility or vision-impaired guests. Car Park: Outdoor parking is available at the resort. Guests take full responsibility for their vehicle and property while parked on the premises. Getting Around: There is no public transport in Rotorua and a car is highly recommended. Set on 22 acres of parkland, the park is home to endangered flora and fauna. Directions to Ramada Rotorua from: North Once on State Highway 2, travel through the townships of Tauranga and Te Puke. At the T-intersection of HWY 2 and HWY 33, go straight ahead onto HWY 33 (do not turn off to Whakatane). Travel through Okere Falls at Lake Rotoiti and three kilometres past the Okere Falls General Store. Turn right onto Hamurana Road. If you reach Mourea village, you have gone too far. South At the intersection of Fenton St and Amohau St, turn into Amohau St and head towards the Rotorua Airport. The road name will change to Te Ngae (also known as HWY 30). Approximately 9 minutes past the airport will be the little village of Mourea. Hamurana Road is the first left after the bridge. Turn into Hamurana Road and 700 metres down the road you will see Ramada Rotorua’s signs and driveway on the left. East Take Chalmers Road and Main Road to SH 2 in Makaraka. Follow SH 2 to State HWY 30 in Awakeri. Follow State HWY 30 to Hamurana Road/Hamurana Okere Road in Mourea. West Once on State Highway 5, head towards Rotorua. At the roundabout intersection of HWY 5 and HWY 36 turn left towards Ngongotaha. Travel through the township and keep going straight on this road (DO NOT turn off towards Tauranga). Travel for approximately 15 kilometres, keeping the lake on your right. Ramada Rotorua is on your right at the end of the bushland and lake.
