Acousticophobia
a talent on the six-string
this guy wanted some more
added some distortion
mom threw him out the door
he came begging to be let back in
and his knocking on the door
drove poor mother to madness
and now she is no more
Acousticophobia , the fear of noise.

Ablutophobia
he could not cross
that line
for beyond were white tiles
and water
thick like the dirt
underneath his nails
was the barrier he could not break
many times she wondered why
and even love
was then covered in grime

Agrizoophobia
you’ve never been to my place
is what she said to him
while he nervously
quickened pace
gazing around
it is up
in the foothills
by the woods right?
he asked while his eyes
fixed upon movement up ahead
look!- she exclaimed and failed to answer
was that what i think it was?
she asked while she noticed
he had run off in the
opposite direction
of the little
bunny she
just spotted

Agliophobia
a world of pillow and love
my dream is a world above
where the air has no edges
and where my body holds no grudge
against things that may touch it
and my brain will not turn it
into hurt
for i will float in pillow
and love

as the sun screamed the sky
goodbye
in colors of red
I inched closer to her
was this a dream
a movie
there is something in the air
tonight
she said
and with the breeze
came my panic
and I ran
Aerophobia , the fear of airborne substances.

an evening by the lake
just the two
of us
she and myself
on a summer’s evening
her voice like cinnamon when
she asks me
it starts at the base of my spine
and climbs as i shiver
at the thought of little legs
and buzzing sound
i respectfully decline
as i walk away
