ISSUE 2 A Dan Ellenberger Publication The Chief Complaint NEWS AND UPDATES FROM “JAY’S TEAM” MOBILE TOUCH UPDATE Special points of interest: Updates to Mobile Touch will be done every 4 weeks Every 4 weeks during the updates new features will be added to Touch and any issues found from the previous 4 weeks will be addressed with bug fixes Over the next few months we will be rolling out the much awaited Mobile Touch epcr. To help each department introduce and train their crews , we will be giving you access to our demo / training department version of Mobile Touch. Using this training site is safe because none of the epcrs completed will be billed or submitted to the state. Your crews should be encouraged to log in to Mobile Touch to become familiar with the format and features of Touch. Having access to Touch will help you decide what hardware works best for your department. If you are using Windows devices make sure you open Touch with the CHROME BROWSER. Touch also works on Apple IPADS using the SAFARI BROWSER. Contact Jay, Mike or Dillon for a username and password to the demo site. Inside this issue: Mobile Touch Update 1 WEBEX Feature 1 XchangER Update 2 CAD Update 3 HealthEMS Fire 4 Webex Wednesday 5 Contacts / Links / Events 6 WEBEX FOR CONFERENCING & TRAINING We will be using the services of Webex to do conferencing and training. This will allow Jay, Dillon and I to reach out to individuals and larger groups for training and conferences without needing to spend time driving between sites. Of course we will still be making site visits when needed, the Webex feature allows us to contact more sites and individuals during high priority events and time schedules. When time permits please go to www.webex.com and become familiar with the Webex product. Test your audio and microphone so that you can work out any bugs prior to a scheduled meeting or conference. FYI to go along with the webex.com site there are Webex apps for android, IOS and Windows 10. A specific HealthEMS Mobile configuration must be enabled by the Physio Control Data Solutions team for this functionality to be available within Mobile. HealthEMS® CAD Xchanger is an interface provided as a free service to HealthEMS customers. HealthEMS CAD Xchanger is a thin, Java-based application that can reside on any PC or server that has access to the CAD data and has internet access. Each organization may have a different database configuration, but CAD Xchanger is designed to collect the data that is vital to the organization and map those fields to HealthEMS data fields. Once initial configuration is complete, export tasks are scheduled on the host PC using Windows Task Scheduler. The export task consists of CAD Xchanger querying the CAD database and then uploading any new data to HealthEMS servers. New data might include updates to existing calls or entirely new calls. The timing and frequency of the exports is configurable based on organization needs. CAD Xchanger runs continuously on the Task Schedule, but can be modified for any changes in data schema or organization needs. The CAD Xchanger Implementation Questionnaire and CAD Field Information spreadsheet must be completed prior to installing and configuring the HealthEMS CAD Xchanger application. Once these are received, a two hour WebEx conference call is scheduled to complete the initial installation and configuration. A follow up conference call is often needed to make final adjustments to the interface. System Requirements GEEK STUFF ! Windows Operating System Java 1.6 or higher Read only access to the CAD database Access to the internet TCP/IP Allow TCP/IP packets on HTTP ports 80 and 443 to the 198.190.201.250 network with no restriction or password authentication (if required). Proxy Exclude any pages from the *.healthems.com (http and https) domain from being cached on proxy servers. Anti-Malware In addition to allowing all traffic to and from 198.190.201.250 and *.healthems.com, all “HealthEMS” folders, sub-folders, and files should be excluded from scanning or filtering.
