Let’s Do Life… Together!
At the Vineyard Church of Davenport, our slogan is
“Let’s Do Life… Together!” But it’s more than just a
Slogan; it’s an invitation. We are inviting you to make
friends, have fun, and grow in your relationship with
Jesus by connecting with a life group.
This fall, we are starting something new to make it easy
for you to try a new group. Starting the week of
September 22nd, our groups will meet for 12 weeks,
and then we will take a break for Christmas.
You’re free to try a couple different groups to see which
one is the best fit, but we’re just asking that you
do life together for those 12 weeks and see what God
does in your life!
To pick a group, look through this catalog, then sign up
on the insert (pages 11-12) and drop it in the offering
bucket. You can also sign up for a group on our website
at: www.davenportvineyard.org under the “Doing Life
Together: Small Groups” tab.
We’ve also included other information about upcoming
events, activity groups, and upcoming growth groups
for this fall that you can sign up for as well.

diversity so it’s a great place to grow in your journey
of following Jesus!

up the Breaking Free Bible Study. Starting October
22nd, we will be doing Dave Ramsey’s “Financial
Peace University” to help us with our finances.

exciting steps of finding real joy in our lives. Real

ACTIVITY GROUP DESCRIPTIONS:
+50 GROUP: Sign up for this group if you are over the age of 50, and we will get
together to hang out and have a good time.
BASKETBALL: This group is for anyone who loves a good pick-up game of
basketball.
BOWLING: Whether your average is 300 or 30, come have fun with us!
DINING OUT: If you like to try new restaurants and share conversation over good
food, this is for you! Adults only please.
FAMILY ACTIVITIES: Looking for fun and creative things to do with your kids?
Sign up for this group to get updates on things like family camping trips, art and
crafts, sports, and all kinds of fun ways for you to interact with your kids!
FISHING: Need a fishing buddy or want to learn how to fish? Join us for some
fishing on local waters, and we’ll maybe even do an occasional outing somewhere farther away. All ages welcome.
GOLF: “FORE” people who enjoy golfing! We’ll do some group outings, and also
make a network of people that you can call if you’re looking for someone else to
join you on the course.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: Have you ever wanted to help build a house to serve
the community? Whether you are a skilled worker or would like to learn new
skills, sign up for updates and come on Saturdays whenever you can.
MOM’S GROUP: This group is for all mothers, whether you work during the day
or not. We’ll have events for stay-at-home moms, and also events in the evening
with moms and kids, plus mom’s night out with no kids!
MOUNTAIN BIKING: Get off the beaten bike path! Join this group to use your
bike for what it’s made for on local singletrack trails.
RUNNING: Whether you’re just getting started in running or training to win the
Boston Marathon, join this group to get updates for fun runs, get together for
local races, or swap stories about how your training is running.
SAILING: If you like to sail or would like to learn, sign up for this group!
VOLLEYBALL: Whether you love to dive and spike, or have fun just trying to
make it over the net, we’ll meet up for sand volleyball.
