Following on from the successful Hawke Sidewinder 30 IR range of
riflescopes Hawke Optics is proud to announce a new Tactical range of
riflescopes.
• The super strong 30mm body tube is finished in a dark matt black to
prevent unwanted reflections
• The fully Multi-coated 30 mm optical system gives a brighter
clearer image, designed to perform in low light hunting and
shooting conditions.
• The 10x and 20x 1/2 Mil Dot reticles are of a fully floating design. They
feature dots and ‘ties’ spaced at 1/2 Mil Dot spacing. The hollow bars
are calibrated for 0.2 Mil spacing and whole Mil spacing.
• 42mm objective lens. Smaller diameter objective enables a lower
mounting position on rifles, keeping the shooters head lower and better
barrel alignment.
• Side focus parallax control, with 2” wheel extension supplied, min 10

The open sniper style turrets are calibrated to 1/4 M.O.A per click. To
adjust the turrets the whole assembly is pulled up to unlock, then once
adjusted they can be securely locked into position.The turrets are simply
reset to “0” by loosening a hex screw on the top.

The lens configurations have been carefully selected to offer the
optimum performance in low light conditions, whilst offering excellent
range finding properties - The Sidewinder® features a side focusing
system designed to parallax from 10yds to infinity.
By popular demand, the Sidewinder 30 is now available with either
a Hawke® SR6/SR12 reticle or a ½ Mil Dot true at 10x or 20x.
The reticle illumination brightness adjustment is positioned on the side
focus turret.This allows 5 red and 5 green settings.The settings have been
carefully considered to produce low enough illumination levels for dawn
and dusk shooting.

Hawke Optics has taken all the positive feedback from shooters and
hunters around the globe and is proud to introduce a new upgraded
version of Endurance 30 IR – now with improved Field of View, greater
optical performance and refined reticle illumination.
• The glass etched L4 reticle with illuminated fine floating centre dot.
Features 11 different brightness settings, red when illuminated, black
when turned off. Illumination settings are set lower to avoid any reticle
glare and subsequent loss of target.
• The strong 30mm diameter, one piece aluminium body tube is finished in a
dark non reflective matt black to prevent unwanted reflections.
• Reticle focus is controlled by an adjuster ring fitted to the ocular lens;
the adjuster ring is rubber covered to prevent recoil injury and features
a clicking index system to avoid accidental movement.
• The 30mm fully multi coated “Dawn and Dusk” optical system has improved
lens quality. Great attention has been paid to light and colour transmission
and internal reflections are reduced to an absolute minimum. All this
gives the hunter and shooter a brighter clearer image and improved

mind, the side focus parallax reliably ranges from 10 yd to 500+ yd.
The reticle is a Mil Dot calculated to be true at 10x, with an illuminated
centre dot.
The dot illuminates in red and green, controlled by the ocular mounted
rheostat. There are five red and five green illumination settings.

The modern spring powered air rifle can deliver high levels of muzzle
velocity in countries where the law permits. High powered air rifles deliver
a punishing recoil which can shake a riflescope out of zero if the scope
mounts are not designed to withstand that recoil.
Spring airguns create double recoil requiring a well designed mounting
system. Hawke® Match Mounts feature a recoil stop and cushion tape to
prevent damage to the riflescope tube.
The double hex screws and precision machined dovetail clamp rail fit
snugly onto the rifle dovetail. The dovetail clamp rail is reversible to fit
both 9-11mm (airgun) and 3/8” rimfire rifle receivers.

the rifle scope is in the approximate zero zone the mount can then be
locked secure using the hex key provided. A true zero can be achieved
using the riflescope turrets.

METAL DETECTORS
To get the most out of your optical set-up it is always recommended to
have your rifle scope optically centred. When zeroing at close of very
far distances, it’s common for the turrets to reach the end of their
adjustment. An option is to pack the mounts with additional material to
raise the rear (or front) of the scope. By doing this, you risk damaging
the scope tube.The correct solution is to use the new Hawke Adjustable
Mounts.
