Upcoming OE Congregational Meeting (with new time) Thank you to all of our members who participated in the congregational meeting on Sunday April 3rd to nominate our 2016/2017 board of directors. The congregational meeting to elect officers and members of the board of directors will be held on Sunday May 1st, starting about a half hour before mincha (at approximately 7:10 pm). The time of the meeting, initially set for 10:00 am, was changed based on comments from our members. Only full shul members may vote at this meeting. Please see below for a list of the nominees. YIEB Yom Hashoah Program The Young Israel of East Brunswick’s “Yom Hashoah Program” will be held at 7:30 p.m. on May 5, 2016. The program will include a candle lighting to honor victims and survivors and feature speeches by two Holocaust survivors: Rachel Sambul, a Polish Jew who fled with her family to Russia and endured horrific conditions in Rabbi Yisroel Weiss Shiur Siberia, and Saul Graf, a Hungarian Rabbi Yisroel Weiss' shiur for men and Jew who was transported to Auschwomen on the Parsha, with a focus on witz in 1944 and also survived other Emunah and Bitachon, will be on hold labor camps.
