About the Camp
• Early registration will ensure each camper a place in
this year’s basketball camp.
• The registration fee is $75 for mini camp (morning
only) and $125 for day camp (all day). Day campers
should bring their own sack lunch.
• Each camper should provide the following:
1) T-shirt
2) playing shorts
3) socks
4) basketball shoes
• Campers will receive a camp T-shirt. Awards will
be given to players at each age level in a variety of
categories.
• The 2015 USAO Basketball Camp is directed by Jennifer
Hayden, USAO head women’s basketball coach, and
Leandra Johnson, assistant coach.
• In addition to the coaching staff, campers will receive
instruction and assistance from members of the USAO
basketball team.
• Participants in the morning camp will need to be
picked up by 11:30 a.m. and participants in the afternoon
camp will need to be picked up by 3:30 p.m.
Mini Camp
The Mini Camp is open to any girl in kindergarten
through fourth grade. The daily, three-hour sessions
will focus on the basic understandings of the sport and
strengthening player fundamentals.
Day Camp
Players in grades 5-8 will attend the Day Camp. Campers will receive additional instruction covering team
aspects and advanced skills.

Head Coach
Coach Jennifer Hayden is approaching her fourth season
with the Drovers and is eager
to show off in the tough Sooner
Athletic Conference.
With three seasons as the head
coach, she has four DaktronicsNAIA Scholar-Athletes and seven players named Academic AllConference athletes. Further,
she’s coached five All-Sooner
Athletic Conference players, including the third member to join USAO’s elite 1,000-Point
Club.
Under Hayden, the Drovers have been to three consecutive Sooner Athletic Conference tournaments.
Hayden came to USAO directly from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. There, she recruited and coached
the 2011-12 American Southwest Conference West Division Newcomer of the Year and had three NCAA ScholarAthletes.
Prior to joining the Lobo staff, Hayden spent two seasons starting a new program as the head women’s basketball coach at NAIA Division I University of the Southwest.
Leandra Johnson
Assistant Coach
When Leandra Johnson joined
the Drovers in 2011, she jumped
right into coaching and right
into life at USAO, taking on an
assistant coaching role with the
women’s basketball team and
serving as head cross country
coach for both the men’s and
women’s programs for three
seasons.
Johnson came to USAO after
two years as a graduate assistant
at Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Johnson graduated from NWOSU with a bachelor’s in
health and sports science in 2009 and her master’s degree
in 2014.
