A truly Christian education is invaluable;
it will create an environment of respect
for God, for His Word and for authority.
It will lay foundations of discipline, moral

A “New Life” Ministry
Excellence in the development of
Spirit, Soul and Body
Tehillah Christian Academy (TCA) is one of 7 500
schools in 135 countries using the ACE curriculum. In
South Africa we have 320 schools using the programme, including 2 200 teachers organized in seven regions.
The ACE curriculum has been used in SA since 1985.
TCA was founded in 1997 and has acquired Silver
Status (quality approved status) in 1998, only one
year after opening it’s doors.
THE UNIQUENESS OF THE INDIVIDUAL
Every child is a unique creation of God, created by God for
a specific purpose. We therefore individualize the total
program in order to meet each child’s specific needs,
seeking to enrich him spiritually, mentally, emotionally and
physically. Individualized, self-instructional techniques are
used throughout the academic program to encourage each
learner to take responsibility for his learning and to teach
him how to learn.
VISION
To develop excellence in spirit, soul and body.
MISSION
Training children in the ways of God through our
Biblical based curriculum, enabling them to mature
emotionally and in confidence.
EDUCATION SYSTEM
TCA uses the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE)
learning system (also known as ‘School of Tomorrow’) which provides personalized and individual
attention in English. Each student works at his own
ability level - within the required minimum annual
requirement - according to the results of the diagnostic tests taken before enrollment, which indicate
the child’s achievement level. In this system the responsibility for learning is placed on the learner, and
is supported jointly by the parents and the school.
4 KEYS TO ACE BASED EDUCATION
1. Individualized: The A.C.E. Model allows your child to
progress independently (within minimum annual requirements) through the curriculum and not as a group.
2. Diagnosis: The child is given a diagnostic test to determine current academic ability and clearly identifies any
learning gaps within all subjects.
3. Goal Setting: The Students learn through setting daily
goals and are challenged by marking their achievement.
This key to learning allows the child to visualize and plan
daily progress. This unique discipline of A.C.E. places
responsibility and accountability on the student for
learning, thus establishing a lifetime appreciation for
goal setting and achievement.
4. Mastery: The Biblical value of excellence in all things
we do is translated into mastering subject content. This
is the foundation upon which all future learning is built.
The A.C.E. Model reinforces honest achievement that
results in advancement. Students must master a minimum of 80% of the material before advancing.
Changing the world for Christ ... one child at a time!
BIBLE BASED MATERIAL
The ACE program instills moral values and Biblical
principles in the life of each learner. Sixty character
traits such as honesty, kindness and loyalty are
taught within the learner and teacher support materials. The learner observes Godly living in the
Christian character illustrations and applies these lessons to their own
lives. This charactertraining prepares the
learner to deal with the
joys and challenges of everyday life.
