Busche’s specialty is machining castings and forgings, such as automotive
driveline, steering, and suspension components. Our team has proven
experience machining aluminum rack and pinion housings and utilizes fixed
diamond tooling to maintain the tight surface finish and dimensional tolerances
required by these complex parts. We’re proud to have earned a trusted
reputation as a safety critical approved supplier. Safety critical means “zero

Busche’s 390,000 square-foot, climatecontrolled manufacturing facilities house
modern CNC equipment organized as work
cells for peak efficiency. Our work cells
have real-time electronic process sheets
and complete instructions empowering our
operators and all departments with detailed
information regarding the machining,
inspection, and packaging procedures,
as well as the proper tooling. Work cell
manufacturing has allowed Busche to reduce
lead times, improve quality and productivity,
and maintain our excellent on-time delivery
record. In addition, our superior tooling and
fixturing is supplied in-house through the
Workholding Division of Busche, enhancing
process integration and efficiency.

PRECISION
Busche’s specialty is the machining of complex castings and
forgings for 4th and 5th axis horizontal and vertical machining
work. Our machining centers have table capacities of up to 39.4”.
Busche also utilizes CNC Lathes to handle the turning needs
of our customers with chucking capacity up to 24” and live
tooling for drilling and tapping. Innovation and stringent quality
procedures have played a key part in our ability to maintain the
tightest tolerances in the industry.

source. That’s why Busche concentrates its financial

latest manufacturing technology, we produce parts that

Busche is ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified. Busche specializes
in medium to high volume production runs. We use
advanced testing equipment such as CNC Coordinate
Measuring Machines (CMM), pneumatic leak testers and
conveyor washers to ensure superior quality.
Roundness Tester
Our fully programmable CMMs are accurate to within
one hundred-millionth of an inch. This allows Busche to
dimensionally inspect extremely complex parts accurately
and efficiently directly at the work cells, or in our fully
equipped quality control labs. This level of sophistication
confirms our commitment to meet all quality challenges.
