I hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far. its
been a couple of crazy, stormy weeks. Check out the rest of
the newsletter for upcoming shows, there are a lot of nice
shows coming soon. We will have tickets for sale for the 1st
(hopefully annual) dance, the flyer is attached. Hoping to see
everyone there. Get well wishes for all of our members that
have been ill, hoping to see you all make a speedy recovery.

MINUTES OF JUNE 25TH MEETING
1) Food Drive outcome, which was 06/13/14, 50/50-$66, Entrance Fee$346, Bake Sale- $163.50, Raffle Basket- $145, Donation- $145, Dennis
from lost in the 50’s donated $100, Total Income- $865.50. No expenses;
all donated. Thanks to everyone that helped out and their donations.
2) Donation to Sarah House from Food Drive- $500, and John Stonko
Foundation- $300
3) Dave Williams reported that a friend from the police force house burnt
down. The family lost everything. Any donations are appreciated. See
Dave.
4) Club looking into Suri Radio Unit for the trailer. Rick & Tom to look
into and will discuss at next meeting. If approved we would auction off our
current speakers and IPod at our Christmas Show.
5) Sam Tanner came to our meeting to speak about hosting his first Annual
Summer Festival / Car Show @ the Pasadena Beach on Saturday, August
9th from 10 – 6. He would like members from our club to commit to this.
He even offered us a free booth is we wanted to sell items for our club.
There is no cost for people who register their car with him and he is giving
us so much free stuff for each car registered; otherwise it’s $5 for Adults;
$3 for kids under 18 and children under 4 free. All cars register with
receive free food and a coupon book for all the activities. Activities
include:
Music (live band at 4 pm)
Rock Climbing
Go Karts
Dunk Tank
Pony Rides
Moon Bounce
Carnival Games
Vendors
Arts & Crafts
Flyers and registration forms will be at the trailer. Any questions please

6) Chrome City Ride is 07/27/14- Cost is $25. This includes a t-shirt, food,
chance for door prizes and entrance over the Bay Bridge. See Wayne
Gerkin to sign up.
7) Thanks to everyone went went to the St. Cashmere Show. Several Street
Survivor Members won a trophy. They raised over $10,000 for their
charity “Believe in Tomorrow”. Thank you note was read by Chris.
8) Everyone had a great time in York, PA at the car show; over 4000 cars
