Our new website has launched. Sterling United FCU was honored to partner with local photographers
who provided several photos that we are currently using on our new site. We hope our members will
notice several important aspects. First, the amount of items shown on the “landing” page has been
greatly reduced; now the navigation of the new site is simplified. Second, as with all financial
institution sites, our members primary use for the website continues to be online banking. With this
in mind, the log on for online banking is featured as a primary feature on the home page. Finally, all
design, changes, and web hosting has been done by a locally owned company. When possible
Sterling United FCU strives to support local business partners because of our belief in the success of
our members both current and future.
Credit Card Processing
We are now offering merchant services for any business that accepts credit or debit cards.
Approval Payment Solutions and Sterling United FCU are teaming together to provide an extremely
low cost processing solution in a continued effort to cut cost many businesses incur with their
current merchant service provider. The service may also be extended to any individual that uses the
Square or any number of instruments. Contact any location to set up an appointment or to get
additional information.
Dana Clewlow-Bray earns CUCE certification
Dana Clewlow-Bray, Audit/Compliance/Training at Sterling United FCU recently received her
certification as a Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) through CUNA. CUCE designees lead their
credit union through the industry’s most challenging compliance issues. The CUCE designation was
created by CUNA in an effort to help credit union compliance professionals keep current. In addition,
it enhances one’s image as an expert in the field and raises compliance to new heights. Sterling
United FCU is fortunate to have someone willing to take on the difficult task of an ever-increasing and
changing regulatory environment so we can successfully continue to achieve our mission
