Murfreesboro Housing Authority Neighborhood News May 2015 | Volume 5, Issue 5 Inside this issue: Pictures/Summer Camps 2 Activities 3 Announcements/Gen. Info 4 Our Mission Our mission at the Murfreesboro Housing Authority is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing in good repair for eligible families in a manner that promotes serviceability, economy, efficiency and stability of the developments; and to utilize all available resources to maximize the social and economic opportunities of our residents. We have had many complaints about cats and dogs running-atlarge without leashes in our affordable housing neighborhoods. Please take note of the excerpts from MHA’s Dwelling Lease Addendum Pet Policy: 1. No animal shall be permitted to be loose and if the pet is taken outside it must be taken outside on a leash and kept off other Tenant’s lawns. 2. All authorized pet(s) must be under the control of an adult. An unleashed pet, or one tied to a fixed object, is not considered to be under the control of an adult. Pets which are unleashed or leashed and unattended on HA property may be impounded and taken to the local Animal Control.
