Sidharth and Alia unveiled the cover of latest edition of Vogue on Friday, which features them in beach wear and KRK couldn’t stop but post a derogatory comment calling the 22-year-old actress “bacchi”. An upset, “Brothers” star told KRK to “shut up”. “Sir! We also try very hard to tell you to shut up but you keep tweeting ! @kamaalrkhan,” Sidharth tweeted. In response to which KRK shot back, “Sir Ji @S1dharthM 130Cr ppl of India also try very hard to tell you to stop acting but you keep doing films to harass them (sic).” Sidharth went on to advice the “Deshdrohi” actor to enroll for English classes. “I think you need English reading classes sir!, as u didn’t read and understand my previous tweet!” KRK is known for taking pot shots at Bollywood celebrities including Sonakshi Sinha, Ram Gopal Verma, Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma. A ctress Priyanka Chopra’s production house, Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP), has started working on its first Punjabi feature. The 33-year-old actress, who is currently shooting the second season of her American TV series “Quantico” in Montreal, Canada, took to Twitter to make the announcement. “Congratulations @ purplepebblepictures Pictures on starting our 1st Punjabi Feature starring Amrinder gill,” she wrote. The film is written by Karan Guliani, who has also penned the story with Ambadeep Singh serving as screenplay and dialogue writer. Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra will be producing the project. Purple Pebble Pictures lineup also includes films in Bhojpuri and Marathi. A mitabh BachchanDeepika Padukone starrer comedy drama “Piku” is leading the nomination in the popular category at TOIFA 2016 with seven nods including best film and best actor. “Piku” has secured other leads nominations at TOIFA 2016 nods in categories like best director for Shoojit Sircar, Deepika for best actress, best supporting actor for Irrfan Khan and two nods (best film and best male actor) in critics’ choice, a release by the organisers said. The road drama revolved around a hypochondriac old father and his cranky daughter. This year’s frontrunner “Bajirao Mastani”, a historical epic starring Deepika and Ranveer Singh, and romantic-comedy “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” come second with six nods apiece. Karisma Kapoor Files Dowry Harassment Case Against Sanjay Kapur E ven as their ugly divorce case pans out in open court, actor Karisma Kapoor has now filed a dowry harassment case against Sunjay Kapur and his mother, Rani, who holds the family finances. The battle between Karisma Kapoor and her estranged husband, Sunjay Kapur took an uglier turn this week, as the actress registered a case of dowry harassment against him and her mother-in-law Rani Surinder Kapur. While the couple are currently fighting a messy case for divorce and custody of their two kids, Karisma approached the Khar police earlier this week with a complaint of mental harassment by her husband and mother-in-law. Following the application, the cops called Karisma a couple of days ago to record her statement and registered an FIR in the matter. Karisma alleged that she had been mentally harassed by the Kapurs over a period of time. Based on her statement, the Khar police registered an FIR (no 98/16) under the dowry section - 498 (A): husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty - and Section 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
